Review: I HAD A [redacted] 2013 , I TOOK IT TO THIS DEALER ALMOST 3 TIME , HE WONT FIX IT , BY SAYING NOTHING WRONG WITH THE CAR , BUT I TOOK IT TO PRIVET MICHANIC AND HE TOLD ME I HAD A ISSUE WITH THE CAR , ANYWAY THE THIRT TIME I TOOK IT TO THIS DEALER , I GET RIDE WITH THE TECHNICIAN AND HE HEAR WHAT AM TALKING ABOUT , BUT SOMEBODY IN THIS OFFICE MAKE HIM CHANGE HIS JUDGEMENT ,Desired Settlement: I DONT TRUST A [redacted] DEALER

April 16, 2014Dear [redacted],Regarding the complaint that was filed on April 9, 2014 by [redacted], please be advised that Apple Subaru is aware of **. [redacted]'s concerns regarding his 2013 Subaru [redacted]. I have spoken to **. [redacted] and he has agreed to bring in his vehicle to the dealership on Tuesday April 22nd. At that time we will address **. [redacted]'s concerns. By having the customer bring in his vehicie and allowing the dealership to keep the vehicle for a week, it will be driven by qualified Dealership representative so that the concern may be duplicated. Once the concern is duplicated the Dealership will make the necessary repairs to the above referenced vehicle. During the time frame that the customer is without his vehicle **. [redacted] will be provided with another vehicle to drive.Sincerely,

Review: I purchased an [redacted] and the [redacted] Maintenance Care contract at [redacted] in [redacted], PA. When purchasing the [redacted] Maintenance contract, I was told that this contract was honored at all [redacted] dealerships by the Sale Representative when purchasing the vehicle. I took my vehicle to [redacted] in [redacted], PA on 5//20/2014 due to the indicator light alerting me that an oil change was needed. After the service was performed, I was informed by [redacted], Service Manager, that the service wasn't covered by the maintenance contract. I informed [redacted] that this service was covered by the [redacted] Care maintenance contract and that I should not have been charged. He advised me that his dealership didn't honor the [redacted] Care maintenance contract and that I would have to make the payments and request a reimbursement from [redacted] Care maintenance. I informed [redacted] that I was told when I purchased the coverage I would not need to pay any out of pocket fee for services covered under the agreement. [redacted] stated that he would cover the charge on this service date but future services would need to paid by me and then I would need to request reimbursement from [redacted] Care maintenance directly.

I called the [redacted] Care maintenance department directly and was informed that I should not have to request reimbursement and that the dealerships that perform the covered services should submit the claim and be reimbursed. I was also told that there wasn't a need for me to pay out of pocket for these covered services.

I was inconvenienced, humiliated, and harassed by [redacted] publicly with no apology. I strongly feel that this was racially charged because I am a black man and discriminated against because I am a senior citizen. No one should ever have to encounter this type of treatment and [redacted] should be reprimanded. I would like to be notified as the action that will be taken against **. [redacted].Desired Settlement: I would like a 5 years bumper to bumper warranty and the car loan balance forgiven.

In regards to the above referenced complaint, we submit the following:

1. As is disclosed in the “Application for Coverage” (for the [redacted] Care Maintenance Contract), American [redacted] Finance Corporation “…..will arrange for the payment of covered services described herein to PARTICIPATING DEALER…”. [redacted] is a “Participating Dealer”. We do not know whether or not “[redacted]” is a “Participating Dealer”.

2. It is not the policy of [redacted] to inform a customer that the contract would be “honored at all [redacted] dealerships”.

3. If the customer desires, we are able to provide the services as stated in the contract.
