Review: When we were purchasing the vehicle, there was a transmission problem, so they said they would put a new transmission in with full warranty. 16 months later the check engine light came on and the transmission was bad. The dealership shop said they we not instructed to replace the transmission, only the 4 parts listed and the warranty was on those parts and only for 12 month, 12,000 miles. Since I did not trust them to do the job right and actually replace the transmission (since that is what we were told the first time), I went to [redacted] and had them replace it. Now I have a new transmission with an actual warranty 3 year, 100,000 mile warranty. I did not have time to battle with them, since I needed the vehicle.Desired Settlement: I think they should be responsible for most if not all the cost, since they did not repair the problem properly the the first time.
