Review: on september 20 2013 I purchased a 2001 [redacted] I had it for 3 weeks and the head gasket blew and there was no coolant in the car during the 3 weeks I had it I saw no signs of anything wrong with the car I payed 4000 dollers for the car and the delership told me there was nothing worng whit the car and when it broke down and I called to have it toed they told me "to bad you drove it off the lot" and in the window there was a sticker in the window that said I have a 90 day warranty they never told me that I had to by the warranty.I spent 4000 on this car and need it to get to work im only 19 and that was all the money I hadDesired Settlement: I want a refund or replacement

I am responding to the complaint registered to Revdex.com. The original price of the [redacted] in question was listed at 5900.00. The sale price was reduced to 4900.00, it was still out of his price range so our final price was 4500.00 which would include the 90 day warranty, we use [redacted] Warranty Corp. The price of the warranty is 425.00 which we would take out of the sale price of 4500.00 and forward onto [redacted]. It was still too high so Frank the salesperson gave him price AS IS of 4000.00. He made it very clear to him and his mother the car was being purchased with no warranty. The shopping for the car was first test drove with buyer and his mother they seemed to think it was fine but wanted to have dad come test drive it. After dad came ai id tested the car it was decided they wanted to go ahead with the purchase. Dad was not present at delivery but mom was, and again both were told it was AS IS. I am copying the signed purchase order along with the Buyers Guide which is required to have signed by the buyer and sending along with this letter, showing the buyers signature on both forms. When the buyer called to ask for a tow he was told we would but there would be a charge since it was bought with no extended warranty. He was not told " to bad you drove it off the lot" Also the car wen: thru our service department and had new State Inspection and Emision stickers and a complete service with new oil and filters and all fluids checked/ Any questions please call and I will try to address any issues, thankyou.Sincerely,Ted F[redacted]
