this matter without the Revdex.com involvement but we where not given the opportunity. I'm sorry there was confusion about the repairs being performed before we received authorization at no point were they required to purchase the battery we had installed to test the charging system. After a new battery was installed we witnessed the car charging at the proper amount and we had no reason to recommend any further repairs. the car was road tested and never showed any signs of a problem. At the time of pick up the owner started the car and she realized immediately it had lights on in the dash that were indicating she had the same problem she came in for. We then verified the lights where on and by time we pulled the car to the bay and at that point the car was charging fully and the lights where no longer on. In a few short minutes we observed the voltage drop allowing us to diagnose the problem as a faulty voltage regulator on the alternator. We felt terrible about the fact that she had come to pick up the car and had such problems. She told us she was not prepared at that time to make a decision weather or not to have us do the the repair. We recommended the car not be driven until the repair could be made and offered a ride to her. After many years in this business I have seen similar intermittent complaints. We strive to avoid any unsatisfied customers and hope to learn from experiences like this one. We believe Mr. [redacted] considered this matter closed by excepting the refund and free battery.

Review: Apple Automotive purposefully ripped off our family. On June 3rd our car died. We had it towed to Apple Automotive. We inscructed them not to take action until they spoke with us, due to our financial situation. They failed to comply, instead went ahead and changed the battery without our permission. The battery in question was changed not even 6 months ago. They called and told us the car was ready. My fiance went to get the car, and before she even got out of their parking lot, the problem reoccured. When she took it back, he said "It worked sometimes, and sometimes not." He then said he would check it and came back and said we probably needed a new alternator. We have since spoken to representatives from [redacted], the family mechanic for over 20 years, and multiple friends who are mechanics. All of them agreed Apple Automative's actions were malpractice. They all instructed us that a diagnostic test should have been ran checking the alternator before even considering changing the battery. Also, they charged us $141.43 for a battery that does not cost that much.In addition, the car in question is a 2006 [redacted], on the receipt they said it was a 2008 [redacted], so they failed to even find out the correct year of the car, which could change everything about the way they would fix the car They did include a "discount" of $19. . They were very friendly from stealing our money. The worst part is my fiance works across the street from Apple Automotive, and and has interacted with them on multiple occassions. If they did this to us, it is safe to assume this is common practice for them. This company was willing to send my fiance home in a car they knew not to work. They have not only put her in jeaopardy, but god forbid if something happened with my nine year old daughter in the car.Desired Settlement: As retribution I am seeking a refund of $178. We are willing to pay the $100 toll because that service was properly administered. Not only did they steal from us, they cost me two days of work. as well as my job. I would also like for them to reimburse the 14 hours at least which I would have worked. They should be forced to pay my potential wages for the next month at least.
