I think these people are the most rudest office people I have ever meet. Rude comments when standing at the desk. Cancelling a appointment within a week of a surgery when they did not know how to deal with the insurance & told the patients mother that she had crappy insurance infront of others. They are not professional at all. I was there for a consultation but I left I felt bad for this mother she was crying & the lady did not seem to care.

Review: My daughter was scheduled to have surgery by Dr. [redacted] on December 18, 2013. On December 6, I found out that Apple Creek Oral Surgery did not follow-up on the pre-certification they sent to my insurance and never initialized a claim. I called their office, very frustrated, and they refused to accept any responsibility. They were rude and condescending. Eventually, the office person hung up on me. I called back an hour later to leave a message to have the doctor call me back. Again, I was hung up on. They told me straight out that my insurance "sucks" and from now on, patients with this insurance can do it themselves. On Monday, December 9, I received a call from Apple Creek Oral surgery's office manager. She informed me that Dr. [redacted] had dismissed our case and would no longer treat my daughter. This was 9 days before surgery was scheduled. The doctor never had the decency to call and talk to me directly and get my account of events. He only talked and listened to his staff member. I find it extremely unprofessional and unethical that a surgeon would drop a patient, 9 days before the surgery, which had been in the works for 1.5 years, due to an insurance snafu and my phone conversation with his staff. To top it off, Apple Creek Oral Surgery is the only provider in my insurance plan. Luckily, my insurance has approved an out-of-network doctor for future treatment.Desired Settlement: I believe Dr. [redacted] owes me an apology. I would like his office staff to take accountability for their mistake. I would also like them to work with my insurance and understand this major insurance carrier's procedure in filing a claim so that future patients do not have experience what we did.

Horrible place. I would not recommend it. I was scheduled for surgery in 9 days and I received a call saying they dropped me as a patient and canceled the surgery without even notifying us!!! We had the surgery planned for a year. They are unprofessional and do not know how to do their job. They sent all my information to a different patients insurance and blamed our insurance for never getting back to them. They do not know how to schedule things or even call the insurance to confirm something is covered. The front desk gal told us that our insurance sucked and that when someone walks in with that insurance they won't help them and make them do it all on their own. All they want is money. The front desk people are disrespectful and hang up on clients. NOT RECOMMENDED!
