This is a complaint about Apple Security. I contacted this company in 2014 to get a quote /prices to have an alarm installed in my home. On August 12, 2015 I decided it was time to have an alarm installed and wanted to setup a install date. At that time I was told they were very busy doing new construction and I asked that they notify me when they would be able to fit me into their schedule. Several months passed and nothing so I started emailing [redacted] and after multiple attempts he responded that they were still busy. In November I emailed him to let him know I was going out of town to NY and really didn't want to leave my home unsecured, no response from him. As time passed I'd email about a install date and most of the time there was no response. The last response I received stated it would be another month before they could get to me. It's been over a month since that email and no install date. I previously told him I have relatives that were also wanting to have an alarm installed but they were waiting to see my alarm once it was installed. Finally last week after 9 months I'd had enough of his poor customer service and had someone else install an alarm in my home and I'm happy with the communication, customer service, and the product installed. My review is to keep others from wasting their time as I did and find someone who really wants the work. I try my best to use local small businesses when I need something done in my home because the large companies are taking over. If Apple Security is only in the business to install security products in new construction maybe he should let people know he doesn't have time to do residential work. After thinking about it I'm more than likely better off because if it took all that to get an alarm installed what would it be like if there was an issue after the alarm is installed. Gone are the days that a mans word/commitment meant something. There is no excuse to this happening and yes I should of went with someone else a long time ago but I had faith in this company and thought it would work out and I'd be a happy customer who would return if future work was needed. Instead I'm a person who would not recommend this company for any type of work. Consumers try to use the small business owners but they don't have time for the small jobs that don't offer a large profit. A terrible experience with a company travels fast by word of mouth.","neg-1
