I called the phone number listed in the complaint and left messages with no return calls. Upon the third try I was told that it was a wrong number. I then sent an email to the email address asking for [redacted] to contact us and also asked for more information regarding her complaint. She replied by email yesterday, however the information was incomplete. We are replying to her email with an offer to compensate her with free coupons to replace the product.

Review: I am a 3rd generation diabetic with a 3 year child who I monitor her sugar content to prevent the same health issues in her diet and we have been drinking the Apple and Eve 6.75 ounce Fruitables variety blends for a year now which have 6-7 grams sugar in them per serving/box. The label states 1/3 less sugar of other brands, which is true (regular is around 21-22 grams). Lately, both my child and I have been sick and tired last few days and I didn't realize why until I caught the side of the fruitables label saying 13 grams sugar, but the FRONT of the juice box still states 1/3 less sugar than other brands??? And the ingredients are in the EXACT order and content as well as the statement they are both 66% juice. The ONLY difference is the DOUBLE amount of sugar. I called the company and they said they changed the formula, but none of the labels, which should read 1/2 the sugar of other brands now. No 6.75 juice box has 39 grams of sugar. A total lie of labeling which caused me and my child to get sick and stay home from work/school.Desired Settlement: Refund price of 4 cases of juice (32 pack) I purchased on amazon, showing a picture of the label showing 7 grams of sugar (not the new 13) and 2 days work-compensation pay for having to care for me and my sick child at home from school.

We received your complaint from the Revdex.com regarding the issue of the nutrition information on the labels of our Fruitables juice beverage.

Our Fruitables formulas were changed recently whereby the percentages of some fruits and vegetables were increased to enhance the nutritional value of the juice, even though the juice blends stayed the same. With this change, the sugars and carbs were increased. The Fruitables label states that it contains 1/3 LESS sugar than other 100% juice products. Most 100% juices contain 21-22 g of sugar, 1/3 of that amount is around 7g, so the sugar content at 13-14 g is still 1/3 LESS. It is not 1/3 of the sugar amount, but 1/3 LESS.

With that said, we understand your concern when you noticed that the sugars were higher than the previous formulas. You stated that you and your daughter were tired and sick the last few days, and we hope that you are both doing much better.

We looked at the nutrition information posted on the [redacted] website and noticed that [redacted] had the previous nutrition information posted on their site. We have since made arrangements to change it to the current information. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you and your family due to this change. We are currently reviewing your claim and will respond to you within two weeks with our decision.
