Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: While what Apple Honda states in their response is true, the response is mostly a reiteration of what I wrote in my original letter yet several issues are still unaddressed Further, the respondent is minimalizing the amount of time and effort made to receive any kind of response from Apple Honda and is not providing full disclosure on said responsesFirst of all, this incident occurred on May *; letters were to sent to MrF [redacted] and MrV [redacted] in May, August and November, – all of which went unacknowledged (with a claim they were never received.) I have never received any communication from MrF*, the GM of this dealershipRespondent states he spoke to me personally – I spoke to MrV [redacted] on 11/**, only after my 4th phone call to the dealershipRespondent states he responded on email (while on a business trip) – this was only after I reached out to him again via email (after the 11/ [redacted] phonecall) and after re-sending my original letter Respondent states he communicated he was personally handling the situation – while that may be true, I received NO communication from Apple Honda regarding MrV [redacted] 's follow up on the situation until AFTER I filed the Revdex.com complaintRespondent states we repaired said vehicle at no charge – why would there have been an additional charge? It wasn’t fixed correctly the first time and by a mechanic who admitted to me he had trouble hearing while riding with me in the carRespondent states I was given their apologies – I asked to speak to someone for an explanation and quality control measures for the future – none was providedI waited to speak to Chad but he did not come out that day, nor did we ever get to speak by phone The only person who apologized was John The explanation was only now provided in this Revdex.com responseThis is the not the first time I had to bring back my vehicle for incomplete or faulty work (once in May and in November 2015) – the respondent doesn’t address the November situation at allI asked for a partial refund of my bill for the May [redacted] service – this was not addressed but I was offered a $gift card for a future service and my “inconvenience” - Apple Honda has given me no valid reason to entrust my car (and personal safety) to them for a future visit as they had provided no timely explanation or quality control assurance for my vehicle and this incidentWith this response and the unprofessional and disrespectful manner in which this incident and my concerns were handled, Apple Honda has made it clear exactly what my business means to themI recently sent a prospective buyer to Bonnie C [redacted] , who indeed leased a car I also recently contacted MsC [redacted] as my mother was looking to trade up her lease, and my nephew and I are shopping for new cars I told MsC [redacted] that because of the way I was treated, we would be bringing this business elsewhereAt the end of the day, this could have all been handled by a single personal exchange to provide a timely explanation, a sincere apology for my inconveniences and show value for my current and future businessApple Honda performed incomplete work on (2) occasions and did not provide timely, professional or respectful folland customer service to a loyal customer Respectfully, [redacted]

All products that customer ordered have been canceled and refunded The warranty has also been canceled and is in process When this refund is received it will be sent to her finance company, to pay, as this was part of her finance

It is standard dealer procedure, through out the industry, to not quote taxes in lease payments

TThis vehicle was purchased from Apple Honda March **, On May **, the customer came in complaining of heat blowing cool when set to degreesBlows hot when set to and aboveWe checked and found no problem with the vehicleNo repair attempt made and no charge to customerJuly **
2016, customer came in for an oil change onlyNo complaintApril *, 2017, customer came in with a different concernShe stated that the heat blowing out the left vent is "slightly" warmer than the center ventShe authorized diagnostics, and after obtaining a diagnosis we told her that the heater core is cloggedWe can attempt to power flush the system but may need to have the heater core replacedThe customer at this pint declined any repairsThe extended warranty she purchased covers the power train, Engine and TransmissionIt does not cover a heater core or a flush

In response to *** *** ** ***’s concern, the referenced Honda Accord, vehicle identification number, *** was repaired on May *, Services performed were an engine oil and filter change, an electronic wheel alignment and we replace the front brake pads and machined
both front brake rotors. The vehicle was returned to the dealership service department the next day with a noise concernAfter several attempts to duplicate the condition, we did and corrected the issueIt appears that one of the brake system backing plates was slightly bent inward and at times would touch the brake rotorOur technician put the backing plate back to its original position and re-checked for noiseNone was found and the vehicle was returned to MsD* ***Due to the inconvenience of having to return to the dealership, we offered MsD* *** a $gift card with our apologiesI did personally speak with MsD* *** on the phone, and once via email while I was away on a businessI assured her that I was personally handling any miscommunications on our end and that I appreciated her bringing her concerns to my attentionWe repaired said vehicle as authorized, corrected an issue brought to our attention at no charge to MsD* *** and offered to compensate her for the inconvenience

Customer has been contacted by our finance managers, revisited our store, and resolution has been agreed upon. A bit of buyer's remorse, purchasing extras at delivery and then changing mind. This should resolve all concerns on this complaint

After careful review of the *** transaction, we see that due to *** ***’s credit history, she did not qualify for original interest rate that her quoted payment was based onA co-buyer was also needed to sell her the vehicle.*** ***, our *** *** reviewed all
documents, including the extended warranty that was signed by buyer with full knowledge and forethought.The buyer's, *** *** and *** ***, purchased a quality vehicle that was inspected by Apple Honda and we feel we have satisfied our obligations as a dealer.Should ** *** or ** *** have any questions they should call me directly as the *** ***

We as the selling dealer are entitled to sell vehicles at whatever price we choose

However, as I call the Technology Insurance Company, Inc. on 11/*/and spoke to the cancellation department Shelia this policy can be cancel that Apple Honda would have to submitted cancellation form to their companyThis warranty cost $698.00. The second policy question is Total Loss Protection Passenger Vehicles which is for months and enrollment cost $699.00. On 10/**/spoke to a Sandra cancellation department and she stated “policy can be cancel within days by dealership.” I (***) was told by MrW*** these two warranties cannot be cancel. I need these two warranties cancel as well as the other warranties that Apple Honda & *** ** already discuss would be cancel. In response, the
dealer does have a right to set the price, however, the price was only supposed to be $over their payoff amount of $21.3KThe dealer misrepresented the price of the car and fraudulently added over $to the selling price, when they were only supposed to add $500. In addition, to making $profit, MrW***, the Financial Manager I dealt with, was afraid I would "stick him with the car' and made me take a loan through them at 3.69%. I had already secured a loan through TFCU at 2.24% . To show good faith on my part, I agreed to take a loan through him ( they also make money of the loan percentage). I was taken advantage of, I am entitled to a fair resolution of this transactionThey knowingly ripped me off just to switch ownership of the car. I was taken advantage of and I did everything in good faith. I kept my end of the bargain. They did not. There needs to be a resolution to this . I would like the Revdex.com to intervene. I am not give up

Everything was clearly explained in the finance office to the buyer.  If she had questions and concerns about cost, trade value, taxes, and leasing information, this is where she should have asked questions or brought you along for clarity.  Perhaps she misunderstood, however she accepted the purchase.  We would call this a simple case of buyers remorse, but you are not the buyer.

It is standard dealer procedure, through out the industry, to not quote taxes in lease payments.
