Apple One Employment Service Reviews (1)

Revdex.com of San Diego, Orange & Imperial CountiesRE: COMPLAINT ID: [redacted]Dear Mr. [redacted]:I am the All-In-1 Human Resources Employee Relations Manager serving AppleOne Employment Services. All-In-1 is an affiliate of AppleOne, which provides corporate administrative support and services to AppleOne....

AppleOne’s main business is the referral of candidates for direct hire with its clients and the placement of temporary personnel at its clients’ worksites. I am writing to respond to the above-mentioned complaint filed with the Revdex.com by one of our Temporary Employees.AppleOne would like to address her concerns brought forth. The candidate was a Temporary Employee of AppleOne’s and placed on a temporary assignment at one of AppleOne’s clients. In her statement, she brought forth issues with her pay and also claimed lack of customer service. AppleOne indicated that they were aware of a couple of pay issues that occurred, but reported that they took steps to correct the situations to the best of their ability. The first situation occurred in the beginning of her assignment due to a vendor management system set-up issue, which caused her pay to be delayed by 1 week. The Company can understand her frustration with this, but made sure that she was paid for both weeks on the pay card issued to her on her next payroll cycle. This occurred at the beginning of her assignment in August of 2017.The other issue to which she refers concerns a pay card that was to be delivered to her by her AppleOne contact (this occurred in February of 2018). This was to have been delivered to her on her lunch, which did not occur. She states that when she called the office to find out why it wasn’t delivered, she was told the AppleOne employee was out (this is true, since the employee had unexpectedly taken ill and was absent from work that day, unfortunately forgetting that she was to deliver the pay card to her). However, in her statement, she fails to report that as soon as AppleOne received word of this information, they immediately arranged for someone else to deliver the pay card to her that same day, which they did in fact do before the end of the day. The Company understands her frustration that things didn’t go exactly as planned, causing her to have to call the office to follow up (and apologizes that occurred), but again, AppleOne took immediate steps to correct the situation and got her paid that same day. In addition, this was an unforeseen situation in which our employee became ill.She also states that her AppleOne contact was hard to reach and didn’t communicate, but our records indicate otherwise. Concerning the situation outlined above (the delivery of her pay card to her), her AppleOne contact sent her the following email: “Good morning ______ (Employee’s name withheld),”“Thank you for your understanding of the payroll issue which occurred this week. As discussed, we have the option to either issue an emergency pay card so that you have the funds in-hand tomorrow, or we can roll it into next week’s payroll so you will be paid through Direct Deposit next Friday 2/16/18. Please email me back ASAP to confirm your selection. Again, my apologies for the mix-up. Thank you for your patience and understanding!”Our AppleOne employee’s manager reported that she overheard our employee’s conversations concerning these pay issues, and stated that in every case, she provided options and she communicated AppleOne’s apologies for the inconvenience, and doesn’t feel that she was unresponsive to our Temporary Employee. When her AppleOne contact discovered that our Temporary Employee was ending her assignment with AppleOne, she wrote her the following:“Hi _______(Employee’s name withheld),”“I’m assuming you wrapped everything up yesterday at ______(client’s name withheld) – got all of your belongings, left your badge, etc? I wish you well in your next endeavor!”In closing, AppleOne regrets that the Complainant did not feel she received the best customer service from AppleOne. AppleOne admits to a couple of administrative payroll issues, but took great pains to correct them. AppleOne has been in business for 54 years and has maintained satisfying business relationships with both its clients, applicants and Temporary Employees. AppleOne hopes that should our former Temporary Employee be in the market for work again, she will once again choose AppleOne to partner in her job search. AppleOne would be happy to assist her.Sincerely,
