Apple River Refrigeration & Heating

Our furnace went out sometime last night, so we needed a part asap! Googled prices and places & had an idea what it would cost. Finally found ARR & H at 9 a.m. didn't give us an estimate because he had to finish breakfast and had a call ahead of us. We didn't think anything of it, after all its a Sunday. So at 12:48 p.m. he calls us back and my husband goes to pick up the part. My husband comes home rather upset. Said he'd never go through that guy again! I ask him why!? He explained the guy smelt of alcohol, didn't have any change and charged us $98.11! Horrible! If we didn't have a sick child, I'd have used Amazon.com and waited until Tuesday for the part.
