Review: On May [redacted] 2015 I brought a 2000 gmc from a sheriff auction, at the end of the auction, after I had made all the payments incurred as a result of the purchase (a key made, tow out of facility payment , facility fee , etc) I verbally contracted with Michael and Crist which are employees of Apple towing to have my car towed to my place which is [redacted], they told me the car was going to be tow at the end of their work day which was at 5 pm on the afternoon , I agreed to the price of $250.00 for the towing and gave them the key at about 11 am on the Same day. There was no paper sign or money given , just a verbal contract, at the end of the day by 5 , I spoke to another employee ne Victor and told me that the car was going to be delivered at 7 pm, at that time I called several times and there was no answer and figured that they were going to deliverer it the following day

The following day may * 2015 I got four messages and one text saying that my car was going to b delivered in 15 minutes at 1 30 am , and then a few more messages saying I needed to receive it and pay for it,

Apple towing and it's employees knew that the address was a business decided to tow the car back to their shop at [redacted] In [redacted] , I spoke to Crist an Tom the person in charge and refused to give me my truck unless I pay for the towing back and forth and additional storage fees,

I try spoken to them in the last month and heard the same story , until I send them a certified letter requesting my car that the have agreed to waive the storage fees , but pay for the towing , back and forth , at this point as a result of not having my car I have incurred other expenses and as of today June [redacted] after spoken to the owner Tracy still refuse to give me my car.

My name is [redacted] and I was in a very bad car accident on May [redacted] this year coming from Brooklyn at the beginning of the Varrazano Bridge heading towards Staten Island NY. When I got out of the hospital 4 days later I found out that my car was total and it was at Apple Towing at [redacted] in Staten Island. I went there a couple of days after I was released from the hospital and the people at Apple towing company told me that in order to get my plates and my belongings out of the car I had to pay $400 plus sign over the car. I told them that I only had $160 and I had no problem signing over the car all I wanted were my glasses that flew off my face during the accident my plates and a few other belongings. They said no. I told the lady that Ima try and have the money as soon as possible. I called a few weeks later with the $400 and the fee went up to $750 plus sign the car over.

I have been out of work and havent got any money or disability checks yet.. I feel like Im being extorted by Apple Towing. They towed my car from the Brooklyn side of the Varrazano bridge all the way to the last exit in Staten Island before New Jersey. Even when I went to the DMV to tell them that I couldnt return the plates they saidI needed a letter from the tow company. I called them today and the lady at the tow company said they dont give out letters.

I never called them to tow my car because I was physically unable too. thats why I dont understand why they are giving me such a hard time. I need my glasses my sight is getting worse.

P.S. The company is Apple Towing and its not in Brooklyn . They have 2 locations in Staten Island . My vehicle is at [redacted] and their other location is at [redacted].

[redacted]Desired Settlement: To receive my personal items and my license plates. I am a hard working man who pays his taxes. I got into a horrible accident and I did not ask for that to happen knor did I ask for my vehicle along with my belongings to be towed almost to New Jersey and now held for a large fee. They can scrap the car for money, I just want my things.

Review: I was in an accident on the [redacted] and the Apple towing towed my rental car on behalf of the [redacted]. my friend's bag and 2 phones was in the car at the time and to make the story short, when I called them they "claimed" that only one of the phones were in there, the one that is in really bad shape. I understand that there is no way of proving anything but phones and bags just don't walk out on their ownDesired Settlement: I want them to return my stuff
