Although we did inform the customer that the best solution to this issue would be to get the problem handled at the dealership where he purchased the vehicle and the upgrades originally, we still tried to help him get the instrument cluster fixedAlso, due to the fact that the upgrades added by the other dealership were non-factory parts, this made everything much more difficultIn hopes of trying to fix the part for the customer, we did ship the old speedometer to the conversion company to try to get a new one for him, but, unfortunately, both were returned back to us brokenWe were able to provide the customer with a new, basic speedometer clusterWe also informed the customer again that in order to get the exact same cluster, he would have to go back to the original dealership where he purchased the upgrade from and let that company fix it

The customer agreed to purchase the vehicle on said date knowing that work still needed to be completed. The customer had fair opportunity to not purchase the vehicle until the vehicle was ready. We had ordered the replacement part in a timely fashion and completed the vehicle repairs as expected. The General Sales Manager had reached out to the customer to ensure he still wanted the vehicle; we processed the delivery as expected and agreed upon by the customer.
At this time no monetary compensation will be offered due to the customer being aware of the condition of the truck being noted prior to purchase. We have completed the agreed upon repair as directed with proper customer communications at paperwork signingCustomer had also taken possession of the purchased vehicle as agreed

I am rejecting this response because:The instrument cluster was not broken when I left it with them therefore it was in their possession when it was broken Who broke it is no concern to me as far as I am concern it was in their possession so they broke it and to install a generic without my permission and to tell a customer that it's their responsibility to fix it is insane.

In response to complaint rejection we would like elaborate further. The reasoning the contract could not be reversed and the traded truck could not go back to the consumer is that the contracts specifically state no "Cooldown" period or "Right of Rescission" period. Once the contract is signed it is legally binding. We would like to apologize that the day time period for the agreed upon repair was not satisfactory to the consumer. The consumer was fully aware of what needed to be done prior to purchasing the vehicle The fact stands that the consumer entered into the agreement knowing the work needed to be completed. The work has been completed as agreed upon which has already been stated and the consumer has received the purchased vehicle as agreed.

is resolvedWe take pride in giving our customers the absolute best experience while visiting our dealershipOur Customer came in with specific needs for his next vehicle purchaseHe was very interested in purchasing an all new Chevrolet *** LS with automatic transmissionHe knew someone that had a similar car with a retail price close to $25,We gathered all his " must haves" One option that he wanted on his new *** was the *** Touch Screen RadioThis option is only available on the upgrade Model "LT" which is $4,more that then LS. Then he purchased Simoniz and anti-theft adding $1,to the price which totals close to $30,for his *** LT. I informed our customer I would have to do a search in order to find him his new *** and that it was going to have a higher MSRP due to the upgrade in Model level and added optionsI was able to locate his desired vehicle in VirginiaHe asked if we could get his payment close to $per month for monthsOnce he agreed to let us submit the structured agreed upon price to the bank to get the exact payment we would qualify for through our lenderI knew he was interested in months so I showed him the Payment at which was higher than his desired payment of $I told him we are also approved at a month term that actually gets our payment closer in his payment rangeHe said that would be just fineOnce our client agreed to the price, payment, and terms, I informed the our customer we need to send the drivers to pick up his brand new car from the dealer that had originally ordered itHe agreedIt is standard protocol to take a $ deposit, print and sign all the standard law contracts and dealer contractsHe agreed to doing the paper work to save time when he came back to take deliveryWe gave him all copies of his paperwork and informed him that we would contact him the moment it arrivedIt arrived a day later in the evening time and we called our customer and set up delivery for the very next dayWhen he came in that Saturday to take delivery he never mentioned any issue with any employee at the dealershipWe did a thorough look over of his new car and pointed out any concerns he had that we would take immediate care ofHe left happy and satisfiedThe first I heard of this issue was yesterday 9/when he visited the dealership and let us know he had missed his 1st service appointment to address the paint issue we agreed to take care of at deliveryWe are regrettably sorry for any confusion our client has hadWe strive to make things transparent and fair for all of our clients

Our dealership contacted Toyota when [redacted] brought his [redacted] in with the back glass shattered. Toyota explained they have seen no open cases with the back glass shattering by itself. So, any warranty coverage from Toyota was denied. Our dealership has never seen a glass shatter without some...

In hopes of trying to fix the part for the customer, we did ship the old speedometer to the conversion company to try to get a new one for him, but, unfortunately, both were returned back to us broken. We were able to provide the customer with a new, basic speedometer cluster. We also informed the customer again that in order to get the exact same cluster, he would have to go back to the original dealership where he purchased the upgrade from and let that company fix it.

that this matter is resolved. We take pride in giving our customers the absolute best experience while visiting our dealership. Our Customer came in with specific needs for his next vehicle purchase. He was very interested in purchasing an all new 2015 Chevrolet [redacted] LS with automatic transmission. He knew someone that had a similar car with a retail price close to $25,000. We gathered all his " must haves" . One option that he wanted on his new [redacted] was the [redacted] Touch Screen Radio. This option is only available on the upgrade Model "LT" which is $4,500 more that then LS.   Then he purchased Simoniz and anti-theft adding $1,000 to the price which totals close to $30,000 for his [redacted] LT.   I informed our customer I would have to do a search in order to find him his new [redacted] and that it was going to have a higher MSRP due to the upgrade in Model level and added options. I was able to locate his desired vehicle in Virginia. He asked if we could get his payment close to $400.00 per month for 48 months. Once he agreed to let us submit the structured  agreed upon price to the bank to get the exact payment we would qualify for through our lender. I knew he was interested in 48 months so I showed him the Payment at 48 which was higher than his desired payment of $400.00. I told him we are also approved at a 60 month term that actually gets our payment closer in his payment range. He said that would be just fine. Once our client agreed to the  price, payment, and terms, I informed the our customer we need to send the drivers to pick up his brand new car from the dealer that had originally ordered it. He agreed. It is standard protocol to take a $  deposit, print and sign all the standard law contracts and dealer contracts. He agreed to doing the paper work to save time when he came back to take delivery. We gave him all copies of his paperwork and informed him that we would contact him the moment it arrived. Review: well I guess you can say this all started Feb,4, 2014 when I first reply ask about the vehicle its self

I have been given not but the run around from the begining

takes for ever to hear from someone and you always have to email them

they will not email you and tell you a darn thing is you do not email them and stay on them

then we finally come to agreement on the 19th of February ,2014 for the truck all papers are signed/ the loan the whole 9 yards everything is done / except they need to replace the muffler on the truck/ that was the deal/ so he says should take a few days we get the muffler in then we will install it and have the truck inspected

well at first it is mid weed then middle / and then darn and behold now im told it will be friday afternoon / you know enough is enough again I have to email salesman and ask him the status of the truck / its gettting old now so on the 27th of february I get home I receive my first payment paper in the mail for the truck/ remember now I still have not got the truck yet / now I am upset irrtates as crapt this is wrong /so I call up to applevalley toyota/chev and ask to speak to a manager this is wrong I tell the lady who answers phone / so I get some guy internet sales or something he says I will find someone have them call you / ok well about 10 minutes or so goes by all a sudden the salesman want to call me I tell him I sorry but you are not the manager too late now I want some one and let s get this straight now tonight / so I get another call this guy says he is chance w[redacted] / who ever any way he seems like a arrogant as to me / but that might be me / alittle smart ???? so I tell him what is going on tell him this is bull does not make sense / the hell with this just give me by the tags to my truck switch everything like it was and you people can keep that 2011 [redacted]/ I dont even feel like I want the truck now / he says you have our truck and we will get it/ I said I dont think so

he said we will come get it / ok what ever / then right before he wants to hang up he says your truck is ready excuse me well when was someone going to call and let me know the truck was ready sir this is bull you have the manager call me he says I will have john call you in the morning??? well I guess it was around 10;33 am on Friday the 28th of february john hammon calls me and wants to know whats going on / I told him the same story / he said he would get to the bottom of this that someone drop the ball/ well yeahhhhhh you think / and gave me his ext # to call him so he tells me he will have the truck delivered to my house friday evening when I get home and they will take my old truck whick is theirs now 2006 [redacted] in the mean time I ask him about the jack for the truck was it in there he said he would go check find out and call me back withthin the hour well lord and behold I heard nothing back again so at 2;53 pm Feb 28th I call john h[redacted] back and ask him did you forget me he said oh the jack is in the truck I guess I forgot with so much going on come on this is just wrong / I ask him (john h[redacted]) where they still bring the truck over when I got off work he said yes its clean and inside/ gas ok /he said Ron would be the guy bring the truck said he was a nice guy thats good/ ive had enough / anyway I get home ron pulls in in front of me / he gives me the keys to my finally new truck ?? and I give him keys to my old truck that I traded in / he goes on his way /IM SORRY BUT THIS IS WRONG THIS IS WRONG HOW THEY HAVE DONE ME FROM THE GET GO / I DO NOT WANT SOMEONE ELSE TO HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE HEADACHE OR THE BULL/GARABAGE THAT I HAVE HERE / YOU KNOW LAYING AWAKE ANIGHT JUST WONDERING WHAT ARE THEY DOING THE RUN AROUND NEVER STOPPED AND LIKE I SAY /ME HAVE TO EMAIL BACK EACH TIME TO GET A ANSWER IS WRONG / THEN ON FRIDAY THE 28TH WHEN I HAVE TO CALL THE MANAGER BACK HE DROPS THE BALL TOO THIS IS PRETTY SAD VERY SAID /SO WHY AM I FILING THIS COMPLAINT SO HOPEFULLY NO ONE ELSE WILL HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE HEADACHE THE RUN AROUND THAT I HAVE BEEN THROUGH SINCE THIS ALL STARTED BACK ON F3B 4TH THE FIRST TIME I SAW THE TRUCK / I THINK THEY SHOULD KNOCK A FEW GRAND OR SO OFF THIS TRUCK OR SOMETHING TO CLEAR THIS MATTER UP AND WE GO OUR OWN SEPERATE WAYS /I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE EVEN THOU I BOUGHT THE EXTRA WARRANTY FOR THE TRUCK AND TOLD JOHN H[redacted]S/MANAGER THAT ON FRIDAY I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE BUY A VEHICLE FROM THEM OR COME THERE OR GIVE THEM ANY GOOD FEED BACK WHAT SO EVER NO WAY / IM SORRY THIS IS OLD AND IT HURT THANKYOU FOR LISTEN TO MEDesired Settlement: I THINK I SHOULD BE INTITLED TO AT LEAST 2500.00 TO 4,000.00 BACK TO ME ALL THE PRICE OF THIS TRUCK
