Apple Valley Transmissions & Performance Exhausts

I CAN TRUELY SEE WHY THIS COMPANY IS NOT Revdex.com ACCREDITED! We took my son's car to Apple Valley Transmissions because it was showing a code of a sensor in the transmissionThat was ALL that was wrong No slippage, whatsoeverWe were trying to get it to pass a smog checkWe agreed on the $repair and left the car with them I was contacted later that day saying the car is ready to be picked up When I showed up, the gentleman took my payment and told me that for some reason, the tranny is slipping a bit He said the fluid looked fine when they dropped the pan and that the torque converter looked goodHowever, he could not explain the slipping If we had further issues with the slipping, to bring it back in After driving it for a short period of time, my son elected to take the car back in because the slipping was still happening And this is where the 'drama' started with their guy Scott He tells my son that I was given the wrong information when I picked up the carAll this after the owner and Scott went back and forth about 'misinformation' The owner insisted that there was metal shaving at the bottom of the pan when he removed it and he had told Scott thisThus, Scott proceeded to tell my son that the tranny was in bad shape when we brought it inWHAT OWNER SEES MORE EVIDENCE OF PROBLEMS WHILE HE IS WORKING ON A VEHICLE AND DOESN'T DROP WHAT HE IS DOING TO CALL THE CUSTOMER AND LET THEM KNOW THERE IS OTHER ISSUES! ESPECIALLY IF HE KNOWS THE TRANNY IS REALLY IMPORTANT TO GET DOWN THE ROAD! Really bad business, in our opinion! One of their guys made a small adjustment on the tranny and insists we brought a car in that had a bad tranny to begin with, and sends my son on his wayLater, I called and talked to Scott and he started giving me the BS line about 'miscommunication' and how the tranny was bad to begin with After I kept insisting how they could send us on our way without telling us the tranny was bad, was unacceptable Scott continually wanted to blame it on miscommunicationAfter a screaming match ensued, I hung upHere is the bottom line.....my son took the car into the shop to get the oil changed AND THE TRANSMISSION FLUID WAS A QUART LOW! There is NO leaks and my son has driven it only enough to clear the sensor codeI would NEVER recommend ANYONE to this place! Unless however, you want to get ripped offif there was a zero rating, this company would get it!!!
