Future customers please be advised about Josh Smalling for any construction needs. As you have read all of the coorespondence it is easy to see who the greedy one is. Josh is trying to get money for just giving us an "estimate"on building repairs now he thinks he is owed profits from that estimate when he was not awarded the job. We feel that Josh is trying to bully us with a threat of a lawsuit, this has forced us to hire an attorney
And as far as my character is concerned, I am years old and have been married to my wonderful wife for years, I have never had anyone or any company to try and sue me for any money that is owed to them. We have worked with numerous contractors in our past and they have always been paid in full in a timely manner. We have never once filed for bankrupcy or any type of judgement against us and we are very responsible citizens of* County. This situation has been very troublesome for my wife and I and we would not want anyone else to ever have to go through anything like this.

Mr*** is a liar, he breeched his contract to pocket lots of insurance money in which we got him in good faith and in contract of doing the repairs, I'm not backing down and will go to he fullest extent to recover all my damages, you have all of my evidence and it speaks for itself, I have several clients that are willing to testify as a character whitness on my behalf that know and are family to this guy, as well as the insurance adjuster himself* will pay profits lost and until I get that I will not drop suit against him, right is always right and wrong is always wrong, if anyone misrepresented themselves here it was the homeowner

Smalling's statementsThere are so many statements. I had other contractors come out to provide me with estimates and not once did they require me to sign a contract to be able to get an estimate for the workWhy would anyone sign a work authorization before getting an estimate on what the cost was going to beLike I said in the beginning on my first response, what I signed for Josh Smalling was for him to get paid for the temporary repairs and to be able to talk to my insurance company and that is exactly what he told me I was signingI never once told him that he had the job.
I have contacted my insurance agent, *** *** with Erie Insurance and he has informed me that it was my right to hire whomever I wanted to do the repairs, do the repairs myself, or not have the repairs done at allAs of today, I paid a contractor to do the repairs that I wanted to have done. I booked their Honeymoon Suite for a period of three days from their website. I took screen shots of the deal they were offering of $6.00 per night, State Tax of $.90, County Tax of $.09 and it totaled $19.99 with a $6.00 deposit. I booked it,& gave my info and credit card info. The website stated they received my request and my confirmation would be sent in 24 hours. Three days later they billed my credit card $109.00 and sent me a confirmation charging a total of $362.98 for the stay. Never a call or notification of an error. When notifying the resort, [redacted] the Manager was rude and condescending. I have screen shots of the entire "Bait & Switch" transaction. I don't trust the web deals they are a scam.
