This is not so much the caseYes we did visit Mrs*** in July to give her an estimate for the doorFast forward to OctMrs *** calls and would like to move forward*** one of our salesman met with her..She picked out her door that she wanted, in turn signed a contract and paid a deposit
Once I received the job packet I realized that the measurement for the door was odd...meaning not a standard size doorSo in less than two weeks I had made an appointment to come back to re measure her door...the door she picked out was a $2,door..So we want to make sure of the size..Upon re measure I determined that her "builder grade door" was not a standard size...I tried to explain this to her..over and over...she just wouldn't or couldn't understand whyI tried my best to explain that it wasn't a big deal that we would just have to frame the opening in a bit and maybe some wider trim on the interior...after going over this with her She still wasn't understanding or as I stated above "wouldn't or couldn't" ..So "I" told her that we were rejecting her job as I felt she wasn't comfortable with us...I offered the deposit back..She called me in the middle of an appointment to ask when I mailed the deposit...didn't have that information in front of me...Long story short we refunded her money and rejected her contract..She inconvenienced us as we do not charge for estimates...nor did we keep any of her deposit*** ***~Owner***
