I am responding to a complaint made by Monica *** about a freezer she purchased at Appliance CityWhen she called for a service call to check out her freezer, our serviceman wentHe put
in a warranty claim for itFrigidaire says it is a unit they replace, not fixSo I spoke to them about replacing itFrigidaire is not easy to work withThey are almost impossible to get hold of with the numbers they give dealersBut I did get hold of them and they said they would be contacting Monica about replacing it.We are usually not involved once they tell her they are taking care of itIt is between the customer and the company that manufactured itIt is their warranty policy.It was a long time before I heard back from either Monica or FrigidaireI assume they told her they would replace it because they called me one day and asked what we would charge to deliver it and dispose of the old oneThe company usually pays us to deliver it if they ask us. I called Monica and told her they said they would be sending a replacementIt usually takes them a long time to do what they say they are going to doOne day, I decided to call Monica to see if she had heard anythingShe said she had been told to send some info in so she came to our store and we faxed it for herShe also said later that she had to send in her model/serial tag. So I assumed everything was handledLater, she said they called her and said they did not make that model anymore and that she had not sent in the right stuffI asked her if she made copies of what she sent them and she said yesI asked her to bring me the copies of what she sent so I could see if she sent the right stuffShe said she would but never came in with itI don't understand why they told her they don't make it anymore because they do. I described to her what the model and serial tag looked like and where to find it on the freezer, but she claimed she sent it inThen I get a letter from youI called her and asked her about the situation and if she was bringing in her infoShe said she thought we were coming to her house.So I sent my serviceman out again to help her peel off the model/serial tag and told her to send it in with delivery confirmation to make sure they get itI also told her to make copies of whatever she sends themShe told me they had agreed to give her her money back instead of a new unitI believe we have done more than our share of what we are supposed to doThe warranty is between her and the company

After a year of waiting and fighting with business I just want a refundNO REPLACEMENT - just refund

I am rejecting this response because:
I'm waiting for the Co. in N.C to send me the money for the freezer.But I want Appliance City to pay me for the $30.00 delivery and $19.00 I paid in taxes. Then I want them haul it away.I will call them when I get the money from Co. in N.C.
