Review: I ordered and paid for a Speed Queen washing machine on May 20, 2016. My credit card was charged as of May 23, 2016. I was initially promised delivery the second week of June, 2016. I have, to date, August 3, 2016, not received the washing machine I ordered. The second week of June, the owner did deliver a floor model GE washing machine to "use until my speed queen arrived" however, it is not the machine I wanted, ordered or paid for. There was no agreement, signed or verbal, that the GE machine was to be in lieu of the Speed Queen.

I have contacted the owner at least a dozen times and on several occasions was told to expect delivery that day or the next only to not receive delivery for any number of reasons. I have been available for delivery every time. There have been no attempted deliveries in which I was not home. Two times I did not even receive a call they weren't coming. It has now been over 9 weeks since I ordered. Even the manufacturer is confused why I don't have my machine. the manufacturer and the distributor are both on alert to my situation but are limited in their ability to ensure that if they ship the machine I ordered, that I will receive it. That responsibility lies entirely in the hands of Appliance connection.Desired Settlement: I would like the washing machine delivered I ordered in perfect condition.

Review: My husband and I purchased four appliances totaling $6204.27 from Mike At[redacted] at Appliance Connection on Hull Street Road in North Chesterfield, Va on April 26, 2016 and May 3, 2016.

Despite repeated phone calls to Mr. At[redacted] about the status of our order, he claimed originally not to even know if

our appliances were in the warehouse or not. He could not produce any evidence that they had even been ordered in the first place although he had changed our Visa card for the four appliances. He then later said that they were here and made promise after promise to deliver them on several different dates, only to not show up nor call us. We called repeatedly and he had many excuse why he was not able to deliver our four appliances. His final story was that except for one appliance, the rest were damaged, at which point we told him we had no wish to deal any longer with him, and that we expected a full refund with no restocking fee. He agreed to the refund, my husband has a copy of the refund,dated June 7,but it never showed up as a refund on our credit card. We turned it over to our credit card company, [redacted], who have not been able to collect from him for so far.(46 days since they contacted him) This situation leads us to believe that he defrauded us and made $6204.27 doing so. We hope that other customers and credit card companies can be spared, and that Mike At[redacted] and Appliance Connection will be held accountable.

Review: We purchased a washing machine from this business and it came with free installation. Their installers broke a water pipe in our house and flooded our downstairs. The business has reimbursed neither us nor the restoration service (Total Restoration Services or TRS). TRS is now suing us after Appliance Connection has not paid. We have never been billed by TRS.Desired Settlement: Payment of remaining $1500 owed us in full. Payment to the law firm hired by TRS to cover that balance and any and all legal fees.

Review: They are selling a product that is not available.... They have it listed temporarily out of stock...and they say it will be in stock within two weeks...which is not true...they charged me and it would have taken me two months to recieveDesired Settlement: They should update their website or shut it down ....

Review: I hired Appliance Connection to repair my kitchen cook surface in February, 2015. After two unsuccessful attempts to repair my cook surface and numerous calls to resolve the matter, I requested a refund. The owner of Appliance Connection, [redacted] told me he would refund the entire amount I paid him. To date, I have not received my refund nor have I heard from [redacted]. This commitment was made over one week ago.Desired Settlement: I am requesting that this business honor its verbal commitment to refund me $146.02.

Review: On 7/23/2012 I purchased a refrigerator from the Appliance Connection along with a 5 year extended warranty. I was told that the warranty information would be given upon delivery of the refrigerator but it wasn't. I contacted the store and was told it would be arriving in the mail. I contacted them again and was told that the person handling this had quit and they would investigate and send me the warranty information. I was contacted by [redacted] at the Appliance Connection on 1/21/2013 to obtain the serial and model number from the refrigerator so the warranty could be obtained. I contacted [redacted] again on 3/25/2013 and he stated he had mailed it but was having problems with the "[redacted] post office" and would send it out again. I contacted [redacted] again on 4/5/2013 to inform him that the warranty hadn't been received yet and asked if I could come to the store and pick it up, he stated that he had to call me back to obtain the serial and model numbers because the system wouldn't let him do it without them and at the present time he was the only one at the store and couldn't do all that needed to be done. I stated that he had already received this information he appeared to become "agitated" and stated "I can't answer the phones and help you at the same time by myself give me your number and I will contact you later for the information."

I have contacted the company again on 7/2/2013, 7/15/2013 and both times spoke to [redacted] who stated the information was being mailed.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive the valid extended warranty for the [redacted] refrigerator that was purchased.

Business manager states they have been researching the serial number for her unit which they discovered is a wrong number. He is currently re-assigning another number for her unit. He states he is also mailing this information to the consumer today.
