At the direction of Samsung, we scheduled a service to said customer regarding an issue with the customer's ice maker As with any service company, a service charge of $was assessed which covers the initial home visit and diagnosis of the issue During the initial visit, the Appliance Discounter's technician along with a service manager from the Samsung corporation, could not duplicate the problem or complaint from the customer The techs were not able to detect a problem with the ice maker or entire refrigerator Approximately one week later, the customer called the service and company and complained that the techs at the initial visit, broke her ice bucket and the ice maker was still not working to her satisfaction Based on the customer's complaint, Appliance Discounters ordered her another ice bucket and upon it's arrival we scheduled an appointment to bring the bucket to the customer and check out the ice maker again There was no charge to the customer for the ice bucket or the second service call The Appliance Discounters tech determined that the customer's original ice bucket was indeed not broker as the customer indicated The tech inspected the performance of the ice maker again and determined that the inlet water tube may have been extended too far into the bucket which may cause inconsistency of ice production He made the adjustment and then left her home and kept the replacement bucket since the original one was not actually broker A few weeks later the customer called again stating that the ice maker was not working to her satisfaction A third service call was done again at no charge to the customer During this third visit the tech found that the ice bucket relocated which caused the ice maker to not perform correctly The tech re-positioned the ice maker and determined that the ice maker would then work correctly In closing, two of the three service calls were completed and an unnecessary ice bucket was ordered

I went out with a tech to her home to look at her washerWhen we went there she was not thereWe put in a spin basketWe finished the washer and put it back to the place it wasWe did not move it a lot, we just turned it so we could see the back of the washerWe left and she was still not
thereShe contacted us the next day saying we ruined her floor and she wanted it replacedI told her I am not going to spend the owner’s money without bringing this to his attentionI spoke to the owner about it and she sent us in picturesNone of this damage was done when I was thereShe showed us pictures of linoleum flooring that had been ripped off and cove base molding brokenShe has an older basement and that flooring has been there for a long time, so there is no telling when this happened, but there is no way that working on the washer we are going to rip off that part of the wall or rip the flooring like that. I called her back and explained we will not be able to repair the flooringShe told me she would be taking us to court and contacting the Revdex.comWe did not do what she is blaming us for, so we will not replace or fix that flooring

I spoke with Ms*** on 12/19. If there are any issues with her washer, procedure is that we have to contact LGWe understand her concern and are at this time wanting to help her and are going to accommodate her request. She is returning the washer on 12/20/and we are
refunding her money to her

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/11/02) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I would have said yes, because even though I did get a call that the bins(shelves) were in for me to pick up at the business location which I did on Nov2,about 5:PM-however when I got home I unpacked them both, each had been packed in separate boxes one of the bins was cracked a lot.It appears the one that cracked was not packed with as much packing material as the other one which was in good condition
So like I said I did receive the merchandise however the one bin (shelf) will have to be replaced.I will return the cracked one to the store where I picked them up at on Tuesday, Nov3rd,and ask them to replace the cracked bin
Thank you,

Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2015/11/10) */
In response, Ms*** returned a "hair line" cracked shelf to Appliance Discounters on Tuesday, 11/3/On this shelf was evidence of water spots along with "smears" as though it had been used and then cleaned upOur suspicions tell us that the shelf that was returned to Appliance Discounters was not the shelf that we supplied along with a second shelf, at no charge to Ms***None the less, Appliance Discounters ordered another shelf, again at no charge and we will contact Ms*** when it arrivesIf Revdex.com would like to see a picture or the soiled shelf, we would be happy to present it

Appliance Discounter referred the McKee-Bell customer to Mid America service for under-warranty service on their
refrigeratorMid America installed a new part and completed the service call on June 3rd, Appliance Discounters is not aware of any service issues on this refrigerator

At the direction of Samsung, we scheduled a service to said customer regarding an issue with the customer's ice maker.  As with any service company, a service charge of $74.95 was assessed which covers the initial home visit and diagnosis of the issue.  During the initial visit, the...

Appliance Discounter's technician along with a service manager from the Samsung corporation, could not duplicate the problem or complaint from the customer.  The techs were not able to detect a problem with the ice maker or entire refrigerator.  Approximately one week later, the customer called the service and company and complained that the techs at the initial visit, broke her ice bucket and the ice maker was still not working to her satisfaction.  Based on the customer's complaint, Appliance Discounters ordered her another ice bucket and upon it's arrival we scheduled an appointment to bring the bucket to the customer and check out the ice maker again.  There was no charge to the customer for the ice bucket or the second service call.  The Appliance Discounters tech determined that the customer's original ice bucket was indeed not broker as the customer indicated.  The tech inspected the performance of the ice maker again and determined that the inlet water tube may have been extended too far into the bucket which may cause inconsistency of normal ice production.  He made the adjustment and then left her home and kept the replacement bucket since the original one was not actually broker.  A few weeks later the customer called again stating that the ice maker was not working to her satisfaction.  A third service call was done again at no charge to the customer.  During this third visit the tech found that the ice bucket relocated which caused the ice maker to not perform correctly.  The tech re-positioned the ice maker and determined that the ice maker would then work correctly.  In closing, two of the three service calls were completed and an unnecessary ice bucket was ordered.

I am rejecting this response because: Now I'm going through run around with Samsung. They give me an email address to send receipt info and they say they'll call back within 2 business days.  I send info.  I get no call within allotted time.  So, I call Samsung again.  After a little back and forth they say they have received my info and will call with an exchange date for my replacement dryer.  Again I receive no call.  I call back in.  Now they want me to email receipt again.  I will not accept the businesses response to this complaint until I have a NEW dryer in which I have already paid for
Sincerely,
[redacted]

home. A.D. factory service tech arrived at Mr. [redacted]'s home and proceeded to detect where the leak was originating. He determined, after at least 1/2 hour, that it was an the installation issue. The A.D. service tech determined that the hardware was not installed properly, which was causing an obvious gap between the case and the door. The service tech made Mrs. [redacted] aware of the issue when pointing out the rubbing situation. The A.D. service tech was very thorough in explaining to Mrs. [redacted] the situation. After the service tech left, Mr. [redacted] called the Arnold location of Appliance Discounters and complained that our tech was only at his home for five minutes and he should not have to pay $74.95 for a service call. The manager of Appliance Discounters offered to have another tech come out to review the outcome. I am rejecting this response because the response overstates the business' actions over the past year, including its claims of prompt response and attention. Often, it took several times to get a response. Second, the business should stand behind the products it sells, not leaving customers with faulty equipment. It is unacceptable that Appliance Discounters sells products and then leaves their customers with no recourse other than through the manufacturer. I encourage appliance shoppers to find a different business to purchase their appliances.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
