our google reviews, which is untruthful and we are currently looking into disputing the slander. On the week of November 23rd, the customer was called to inform her that our company was going to have to place the vehicle on a Mechanics Lien. The salesman was giving her another opportunity to pick up the truck before the company took action. The vehicle was towed in March of 2013 to have major work done. The original bill of $5,417.36 was finalized in 2014 with everything replaced/fixed as requested, down to the wiper blades. The salesman that contacted the customer last week offered to drop the price to $3,500.00, to help the customer in the situation. The customer was asked to pay and pick up multiple times since 2014. At one point, the father ( whom the Invoice was originally under) stated he didn't want it anymore and he did not want to pay for the repairs we had already done. After a vehicle sits without being ran for so long, seals etc. start to rot and start to cause leaks in areas. The diesel fuel also goes bad and may contain condensation causing water in the fuel. Most times, a Service Manager would request the vehicle to be picked up, the customer would come, we would have to charge the batteries and/or find new batteries to get the vehicle started again. The last time, before the vehicle was finally picked up, was in May 2017. On that day, we got the vehicle running and is was taken on a test drive by the customer and the Service Manager. The Service Manager stated that we can not allow the vehicle to leave the premises without new batteries and tires (because the tires were unsafe and rotting as well) and all to be furnished by the customer. Otherwise, the customer would have to pay for the vehicle to be towed off the premises. At that time, she stated that she did not have the money to pay for the entire bill, tires and batteries nor the tow. The only reason why we heard back from the customer this week is because of the courtesy call, letting her know what the owner decided to put a lien on the vehicle that we stored at our company for so many years. Therefore, the job was never "put off". The customer neglected to pick it up within a timely manner and we were kind enough to store it, continuously get it running again after sitting and drop the price nearly $2,000.00 to help a customer out.
