She was out of warrantyAny repairs that would have needed to be made to the unit would have needed to be made in storeOur policy is that if an item is picked up it must be returned for repairAlso we do not service her area as far as us going there

Well we can resolve this issue if she would like to bring the unit backOnce unit is returned we can switch it out for anotherPlease note we are offering to replace her unit but she is however not under a guarantee any longerWe will also not deliver it as she picked up the initial unit she will

The guarantee is now expired because they refused to communicate with me with regard to this issue during the time it was still under warrantyI have since had to pay for repairs to the unit, repairs in addition to the initial cord replacement that they should have stood behind and did notI am seeking a total amount of $in CASH for a unit that was under warranty and they failed to honor that warranty because, as you see in the text messages with them they said, "There is nothing wrong with your unit" without even looking at it

Several BIG steps up from a garage sale/craigs list type purchase as they provide 1 year repair/replacement/store credit style warranty on their appliances. Delivery charge was $55 as expected and they hauled away old one. Refrigerator was immaculate inside and out. I saw similar refrigerators for less on Craigs List and online yard sales but with no guarantees. Unless you "know a guy" who can go over a yardsale find with a fine-toothed comb, for peace of mind it was worth it to go this route. Late Friday early Saturday is best time to look because they get deliveries on Fridays. The good ones get sold quickly.
