Company has come to my home twice to attempt repair, both of attempts proved unsucessfull. Company has not/will not return numerous follow up calls.Contacted company to request repair of dishwasher several months ago. "[redacted]" has been out to the house twice, the second time with another gentleman, and was unable to complete repair on either occassion. During the last trip out, I was told another part neeeded to be ordered given that the part he had just replaced did not address the issue. When asked for the anticipated lead time, I was told "a few days, maybe a week." [redacted] called the following day with pricing, and I called back 2 days later asking that they proceed with ordering the part.I waited 4-5 weeks before calling to follow up. No one ever answers the phone at the office, so I left a voicemail indicating I just wanted to (1) clarify/confirm the part has been ordered and, if so (2) to get a rough ETA for the part. No one returned my call. I followed up again a week later"requesting the courtesy of a return phone call? and still have not been contacted.I've paid more than $300 to this company over the protracted period of 3-4 months without a functioning dishwasher, and have nothing to show for it other than new parts that evidently weren't contributing to the problem (as the appliacne still does not work). And now, they won't even respond to my repeated attempts to gain insight as to what to expect going foward.Desired SettlementThough I'd appreciate at least a partial refund, I would be surprised if the company would agree to that.Instead, I'll try to find another repair vendor that is more responsive and attentive to their customers, more importantly, is able to return my appliance to a working condition.Business Response As far as I know, this is an old complaint and the unit has been repaired by us and is working. One of the parts had to come from overseas via royal air mail and was difficult to get so it did take a while.

They have been unable to fix my washing machine after two months and 8 visits to the house. On their last visit they damaged our bathroom floor. They originally came out on 8/27 to look at the washing machine leak. I was told it would cost $365 total and I had to pay half ( $183.50 ) as a deposit for them to order the parts. I inquired to make sure it was worth fixing as it's an old machine. They said these machines last forever and it was an easy fix. They came back on 9/4 to install the parts and told me they had to break the agitator to get it off. They said this sometimes happens with old machines and they would have to order a new one. I could not use the machine until they came back. They Returned on 9/17 with the new agitator and replaced all the parts. I advised them that the floor scratches easily and to please be careful. I left towels for floor coverings if needed. I paid them $183.50. They did not charge me for the part that they broke which I was very appreciative of.The washing machine continued to leak. They came back to look at it and said an old seal must have cracked and they would replace it as well as a belt which was defective. They would have to order the new seal. I shouldn't use the washer until they came back. They returned on 10/9 and replaced the the seal and belts and ran the washer to check for leaks. Again I reminded them to be careful of the floor. They did not charge me for the replacement parts which I was appreciative of.The washing machine continued to leak. They returned 10/14 and tightened the seal they had replaced on the last visit. They ran the washer to check for leaks. The washing machine continued to leak.10/22 They returned to look at the leak and said the original part they replace was defective and they would replace it again under warranty. I should not use the machine until they returned.10/24 They returned and replaced the part. I again warned them that the floor scratches easily and I would provide floor coverings if they were planning on moving the machine. They said they did not need to move the machine. They places all parts outside the bathroom on a surface I was not concerned about. They left and said the washer was all set and good to use. I went to clean up the bathroom and start a load and found many scratches all over the floor. The washing machine continues to leak.Their invoice states "Customer assumes all liability for any damage to property resulting from moving of appliance as is necessary for servicing." They did not move the machine.I have now been without a machine on and off for two months. Had I know that this would take so long and be so hard to fix I would have bought a new machine.Desired SettlementI would like a full refund of $367.00.I would also like $499.00 to cover the damage to the bathroom floor. This is the cost to have the surface refinished.Business Response This machine has continued to leak even with new seal replaced. The last time we did fill and drained it a few times and it did not leak but I will take her word for it because the first seal we got was defective it is very possible the next one was also.We would have appreciated it if she had contacted us so we could take a look, but she did not.Since she states the repair did not holdI will issue a refund for the repair of $367.As far as any floor damage, I and the other two guys who were out there do not remember any issue with the floor, but at any rate due to the nature of the machine and repairs, as our disclaimer states we can not issue a credit for that. Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I am very appreciative that they are willing to refund the $367! I would still like some kind of compensation for the damage to the floor. As I stated in my original complaint, their disclaimer states "Customer assumes all liability for any damage to property resulting from moving of appliance as is necessary for servicing." They did not move the machine. The scratches probably came from their tool bags and tools. I had repeatedly told them that the floor scratched easily and could provide protective materials if needed. As they did not move the machine I feel that they are liable for the damage. I noticed the scratches as soon as I went into the bathroom. I tried to catch them before they left to show them but was to late.Final Business Response I have spoken with everyone who was there and no one remembers anything about a floor scratch issue. Our tool cases have rubber feet and are designed not to scratch. We did move the machine a bit and took it fully apart, thereby moving her machine part by part. Our disclaimer is there for a reason and if her floor is so easily scratched that she thinks a toolbox could scratch it then it is not a very good surface and perhaps she should consider changing it. We have worked on many machines for many years and have never had a complaint like this. Our disclaimer is on every receipt, She has agreed to it several times and has admitted that her floor is easily scratched.Once again, we can refund the $367 for the repair. I think that is fair.Final Consumer Response I have yet to receive the refund they promised. I am glad they are willing to refund the money. I am disappointed that they were not willing to take responsibility for damaging my floor. I found their suggestion to replace my new bathroom floor with a more durable material unnecessary and insulting. They have been difficult to deal with since their second visit (they were very nice the first time they came to look at the problem). I do not recommend using Appliance Man.I have received a refund of $376.00 thanks to the continued support of the Revdex.com.

Failed to repair refridgerator that lasted 6 weeks+ and has yet to come replace the part they said was bad, and issue refund! We contacted them the 1st week of June to come look at out fridge as it was not working, they said needs a new mother board and ordered it. 4 days later the board was installed and they said could take 24 hrs to work. it did not work, we called them and explained that the major components are warranteed and they said"good luck getting someone out to work on it" They also said a lot of times the boards are bad, we asked to order a new one. This one took almost 4 weeks to come in and another 4 days to get them to come out to install it, they said the same thing, could take 24 hrs to work. it did not work, at this point we are approaching 5 weeks in the summer with no fridge and no food in the house, we decided we could not wait any longer and were forced to purchase a new fridge. at that point I called them and asked to have the old board put back in a for a refund, it has been close to 10 days now and I explained I wanted to move the old fridge along, at this point they are not even returning my calls.Desired Settlementreinstall the original board, and issue an immediate refund! In my opinion, I should not have to wait for them to get the money reimbursed from theyre supplier as they know they will get that money back. after 7 weeks of waiting, I should be issued an immediate refund for services they failed to provide!Final Consumer Response Received a check today 18 July 2014,for the full refund amount, I believe it even included the original amount for the service call. That was a very classy act, this matter has been resolved.Thank you very much!

Desired SettlementI want my $399 refunded plus extra for going to the laundrymat once a weekConsumer indicated they have heard from the company, but the issue has not been resolved. Comments follow below:They refunded me the $399 but not the tax money I lost because I bought a new washer after tax free weekend because I did not hear from them and they refused to refund me the money I had to spend at the laundrymat because I did not hear from them for 5 weeks. I would like that money refunded as well. Thank you.
