I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.Also, I called the 800 # on 08/12 from my credit card...

billing and they were the parent company, [redacted].  I told them what was going on.  The message was passed on to the right person who called me back in a few days and told me they shut down Unwanted Appliances business due to low steel prices.  It wasn't lucrative for them to be in business any longer.  They thought they shut down the website.  No one was getting my phone calls which now makes sense if they shut down the business.  She apologized and did refund the charge to my card.  Thank you.

This customer was contacted via email last month explaining the furniture items we picked up on the day she scheduled the pick up with us. There was a $20 difference from what she had sitting at the curb and what she selected on our website. It was explained to her that unfortunately it is not...

uncommon for the items people want us to take to be different than what they actually schedule. She did receive a $20 refund for the difference in price but we will not refund the trip fee as it was fulfilled, nor the remaining $30 as it is the value of the furniture pieces we did pick up.
