Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: he quoted me a price if he got the part and I was lucky enough to have the part come from the store where I purchased the stove, all he had to supply was the labor( he said it would take days to get the part and I said the stove was under warranty but that the store could get the part but didn't have a repair serviceman so I would need someone to install it) He charged me $the first time he was here, which was under an hourIt was at that time that he said he was going out of town and might not be available to help me out, but I could call his cell and see if he was around.When I told him that I had the part he said great timing he was finishing up in [redacted] and would swing byHe also said that I was lucky to catch him because he was going out of town the next day and would not be able to do the jobHe then said that, he figured I had gotten someone else to do the job, since he had not heard from me, I told him I was waiting for the part supplied from the origional store, because they wanted to take care of it for meSo for him to say he was at my beckon call is not true! He knew I needed the stove working and took advantage of the situlation, I told him that and he said he did not care because that ($230.78) was what the job was worth no matter how long it took him( minutes of work) There is also the fact that he damaged one of the knobs ( it no longer truns without using both hands) next to the thromostate and I didn't ask him to touch that knobIt now is very hard to turn on and is impossible to read the setting of which it is on!I am not hard to please and yes I am in business (years worth) and would never gouge my clients like this! This customer was all well and good with me putting my business on hold and waiting for her thermostat to come inI was at her beck and call to install it as soon as it came in,mostly due to the fact that she had a wedding at her house in the coming days and desperately needed the ovenAll pricing was quoted in the very first invoice I sent herThe thermostat came in on a Thursday at approximately 2:and I was at her house at 3:00,,calling customers on the way and telling them I would be a little late due to this upcoming wedding and allI installed the thermostat and all things were fine,,bear in mind this oven hasn't worked in the plus years that it has been thereThere was no problem until it was done,,strange huh?This customer has a business in the area.I'm sure she knows their are some customers that are just not happy with anything unless they get it for free or close to itUnfortunately,,she is one of them
