I am rejecting this response because: I contacted the collection agency regarding this matter and they could not provide me a copy of the background check, copy of social security card or ID that was used At the time this apartment was rented, I had just turned and was living at home with my Mother I was only working at Kohls about hours a week at minimum wage There is no way an adequate credit check would approve me for this apartment To my knowledge, Kohls was never contacted to verify employment I started contacting the apartment office to correct this matter back in August I had numerous phone contacts with their managersThey finally requested a copy of the police report so their investigator could look into it Copy was faxed to "Carol" at 916-489-9808, on September 29, I have a confirmation that the fax went through The application stated I live with my parents in Sacramento; however, I lived in Fair Oaks, CANo emergency contact phone number was provided -- I know my Mother's phone number Other incorrect entries on the application include misspelling of the town of Folsom (where I was employed) Whoever completed this application appears to be illiterate The collection agency has even spelled my name incorrectly It is " [redacted] " not " [redacted] ." My ID was stolen April 24, 2011, and I did not receive a new ID until November 3, 2011, so I would not have been able to complete an application on August 4, 2011, as I did not have a goverment ID I need correct answers and absolute proof that I completed this application and lived in the apartment This is causing me a great deal of stress and lost time, not to mention the amount of money they trying to collect from me Once again, thank you for your help

We had two vacancies at this property, unit which was move in ready and unit 2, which had to be cleaned before occupancy Unit was rented to the first approved application which met out screening criteria and a deposit was accepted on line Mr [redacted] was contacted and advised regarding the status of his application and asked if he wanted our firm to proceed with running his application on unit 2, same size and layout and he informed the agent he did and wanted to know where he placed on the list.......he was informed if his credit application was satisfactory and we had proof of income, the apartment would be his to rent Mr [redacted] was contacted the next day and again the request was made to provide proof of income....application was run per his instructions......since the FICO score was less than acceptable per the policies on the application, his application would have been denied unless a higher deposit could be paid, however proof of income was still required When reached again by phone, Mr [redacted] stated he was no longer interested in the apartment and the request for a higher deposit was never presentedIf Mr [redacted] would like a copy of his credit report, he should contact our office since the information is private and cannot be attached to this response to the complaint

Since the resident manager apparently told [redacted] it was perfect when she moved out, we are returning the balance of the security deposit totaling to [redacted] and closing our file.......we will re-train our manager to accurately advise the departing resident if work is needed to bring the unit back on the market after months of residency.Hi [redacted] ,What the manager may have said to you and what was sent to our office is with the paid bills is not in agreement...............however, since she told you it was perfect when you left, I have sent you the balance of your deposit back in the form of two checks totaling your entire security deposit and closed the file[redacted] Brittain Commercial Property Management

I am rejecting this response because:As I have stated before I was never contacted by anyone at Britain commercial for proof of income T this is a complete and total fabrication of detailsFurthermore this response does not deal with any of the items in my original complaint The employees of this company Did not follow through on any of their commitments to call me back to meet with me to show the property nor did they process my applicationThey also charged me $for a service that they did not provide

I am rejecting this response because I was not the individual who entered into this contract My purse, which included my wallet with my California ID, stolen on 04/24/It was reported to the Citrus Heights Police Department (incident number [redacted] ) on 04/25/ I advise the apartments that I did not sign this contract on 09/29/2015, and faxed them a copy of the police incident report Can the apartment company provide me with a copy of the ID and social security card?

We have a call into our attorney for the file if it still exists since this occurred in 2012. Our policy prohibits running a credit report unless a government issue photo ID is shown, along with social security card.......if the application is accepted and we enter into a rental contract,
a copy of the government issue photo ID and social security card is attached to the rental contract. This copy of the government issue photo is attached to any paperwork given to our attorney for non payment of rent, who presents this copy of the picture to their process server for identification purposes. If money is owed to the client after we have possession of the apartment, the file is turned over to a collection agency and the judgement is part of their credit report,,,,,this was the case in 2012. The collection agency has been sending collection notices since 2012......if the identification was stolen, this is a police matter and the person should be talking to the collection agency sending the letters and advising them of the police report. *** ***Brittain Commercial Property Management1*** *** *** *** ***

Please note people can apply on line 24/7..our office is only open Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm...no employee works on the weekend His application states move in date of 10/1/is desired, not a date in September A copy of our application on line is attached stating in large letters "Before You Begin", outlining our Income requirements, Credit score requirement and Rental history requirement This applicant stated he worked for Regional Transit, however only produced pay stubs from *** *** which did not qualify him for occupancy since it was under the rent to income His credit score was under 675....when contacted the last time for proof of additional income in September to verify he qualified for a conditional acceptance, applicant stated he no longer wanted the unit and had located another place

The collection company only scans and retains the security deposit transmittal and the rental application....they were able to locate the file and sent both over late yesterday. The application from *** *** was submitted on 8/4/2011...it lists *** *** as living in Fair Oaks with mother, which was verified and also, employed at *** in Folsom, which was verified. The application was submitted with another roommate's application and both incomes qualified to rent the apartment. I can forward the rental application and security deposit transmittal with Taylor Loew's permission since it contains personal information. *** ***Brittain Commercial Property Management
