Review: STAY AWAY!! Alex from this business came to look at my dryer and asked for half of the bill ($110). 3 days later he returned with the part but the dryer still did not work. He gave the impression he did not really know what was wrong. He told me he had to order a part and would call me when it came in. That was 15 days ago and I have had no call. I left 3 messages, no call back. Also, they charge $55 to 'hold' your initial appointment. If you agree to let them do the repair, the charge is subtracted from your bill. The $55 was not subtracted from my bill; it was charged to my credit card. Overall, it was a horrible experience and my dryer is still broken. I rated it 1 star because 0 is not an opton.Desired Settlement: I want the charge on my credit card refunded. I want to warn other consumers away from this business.
Review: 1/ they said the drain pump on my dishwasher was bad; therefore they replaced it and tested it...(2) minutes after they left, I tested the dishwasher - only to find that the problem was not fixed and
I was out over $300. (3) I called and waited a week for the service person to come out with a drain hose (which should have been the first thing this service should have checked out). He said the drain hose was bad - however he stuck the new hose directly into the old one (which was bad???) He didn't shorted the hose, but curled in all about under my sink) (4) After he tested it and left, we noticed that it was leaking all over the place ---- so we had to call another appliance company to fix it - which cost us even more money ($500 total) Had he check all the filters first, perhaps
it would of only cost us a service fee, and/or perhaps a filter. [redacted] at ###-###-#### told us she would refund us a partial amount of $160.00, but that never happened after we gave
her our mailing address, etc. at least 4 times. She will not answer the phone. ....Desired Settlement: We need a check only to cover the $50 service fee, which was promised to be refunded if service rendered. She also promised to repay the leak bill, as we had to call
someone else to fix the mess. We did not charge her the $260 for the drain pump (although it was not needed at all) She promised to send us a check for $160.00 for
weeks, however, that was never done.
Review: My refrigerator leaked for an entire year. It finally broke down and by now my food had started to rot, and drinks sour. The owner was made aware numerous times, and like always opted to make her own diagnosis. In her eyes it was working fine. However food and drinks continued to go bad. I was without a refrigerator and left to shop daily. A few weeks later I received notice to appear in court and rather then a game of He Said, She Said, I decided I would pay to have someone come out and give me an actual diagnosis of the problem and an estimate on what it would cost to fix itperiod.I made this very clear to the company from the beginning, and prior to providing my credit card I reiterated that this was merely to find out what was wrong and what it would cost to repair it as I was not the owner and would be moving in a matter of weeks. I then provided my credit card for the cost of the $49.99 estimate. The repairman was to show up at 11 o'clock am. He didn't show up until almost 1:00 pm, and when he came he was not in a uniform. He did however have on a shirt branding the name Appliance Rx maroon in color. After about a half hour of fumbling around. I went to check on him and asked if he had found the problem and he informed me that he had and that he would soon be finished, but was going to have to order another part. I asked him If he found out what the problem was?, and What is the part ? he stated that it was The Defrost Assembly he then explained that the cost to repair it would be $250.00. He then handed me a handwritten invoice and asked me to sign it. I told him no, and asked him when he planned to let me know what his findings were. I explained that I was just looking to get an estimate and that I was not the owner and would be moving in 10 days. I told him that this is not the way business is done, and that he was not authorized to start any work without my authorization. I asked him what information his company gave him, and when he planned to let me know what was wrong with the refrigerator. He appeared to be angry so while he gathered his things I called his company only to get a answering machine. I continued to call the company and got nothing but excuse after excuse. I had to contact my bank and cancel my credit card. I attempted to reach the owner, but after 5 months of numerous calls, and countless messages I realized I was not every going to get the problem resolved. I spoke to the secretary who promised me a copy of the paid invoice for the $49.99. The last straw was when I got a bill from my old landlord in the amount of $200.00. Not only do I have no intentions on paying for something I had no part in breaking, but on top of that this company is full of scams. Who starts making repairs without making the customer aware of the cost and getting an okay. I also received a copy of the infamous non-existent company. A woman by the name of [redacted] who works for [redacted]. located out of [redacted] Pa. by day and part time as a answering service for this Appliance Rx by night. Her phone number is 215-260-8783, and her email is [redacted]. **. [redacted] sent a letter to my landlord stating that I allowed the technician to make the repairs and then told him I had no money. This is absolutely not true. In fact it is a fabricated lie and ploy to get money out of me. I tried to call **. [redacted] but she cussed me out called me names and hung up on me. I also called [redacted] and made them aware that she was using their company letterhead for Appliance Rx's correspondence. I have also reported her to corporate at CEO. I never met this woman in fact I don't even know who she is. What I did learn from her boss at [redacted] is that she works for Appliance Rx.Desired Settlement: I want an explanation for why this technician started repairs without my authorization, then lied stating I refused to pay. I want to know why the owner is unreachable, and what he intends to do with his workers and their fraudulent business tactics. I want them to explain how I have over 100 calls to them on my cell phone bill, but not 1 returned call from them, and make them aware of **. [redacted] and how unprofessional, obnoxious and foul mouthed she is, and I want my money back.

Response:
I do not have and have never had any business relationship with this person. My company did a repair for her landlord
And was paid by her landlord.
Review: Appliance Rx Inc. was assigned to fix my freezer ice maker and has taken my original one out of my freezer and never fixed it or replaced it with a new one until today. They have taken my original ice maker since March 2012. I have called them many times and they have promised me that someone will come out or call to schedule but I never here back. I have had no ice maker for over a year and I don't have my original ice maker to have another company fix it.Desired Settlement: Pay me the cost of a new one
Review: Debbie Q[redacted] says she is the president of this company, her answering machine identifies her as employed by [redacted]. Her phone number is ###-###-#### or ###-###-####. Our ** refrigerator had isce accumulating in the bottom freezer, she sent out her emkployee which arrived 45 minutes late and he stated that it was the control panel and replace it for over $300.00. Within a week it was freezing over again. I called Debbie and she set up a day for another employee (Virgil) between 8 and 11 am, he arrived at 1:30 pm. He borrowed my wifes hair blower and an extenstion cord to defrost the botton water in the freezer and said if it freezes up again to call them. Yesterday the water was freezing in the bottom freezer again. I called Virgil (###-###-####) and he told me to call Debbie (###-###-####) which I have done tried 3 times this morning but she will not answer or return my call. I do not want this company to send anyone else out to my home, I want my money back so I can get the ** repaired correctly. By the way, all this water running out on my laminated wood floor is causing it to buckle and now I must replace it.Desired Settlement: Get my money back for a botched up job not only once but twice.
Review: this company ripped us off. They told us that we needed to replace a part in our refrig. Not knowing, and desperate I sad yes. I then found out after they came back cause they did not know what to do, sent another sales rep to come out and say we needed a part and said to give a down payment he would return the next day.. I told them no. they said if I do not replace the part in the next 72hrs, the refrig will stop running all together.. TOTAL RIP.. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THE TECH ALSO TOLD ME THAT HIS WIFE WAS SICK AND HE HAD 5 KIDS ETC. a story which was not true I bet.. he was a puppet. I want some money back.. they are terrible. they said they were a authorized sub zero repair company, that was far from the truth.. I called sub zero and they were not happy with the mis-representating of the sub zero name.Desired Settlement: money back for service which was not needed..
