A technician from the new repair service came to our home on 12/31/and diagnosed the ice flapper problem as being related to a failure with the internal ice-making system, so he ordered an entirely new ice production compartment On 1/6/2016, the technician returned to our home to install the new production system, and when he connected it to the ice flapper, he reported that the previous technician had imp***ly installed a metal plate on the freezer frame adjacent to the ice flapperThis mechanical error was causing the ice flapper to be held slightly open at all timesOnce the metal plate installation was reversed by the new technician, the flapper easily closed with a tight seal and connected seamlessly to the new ice production compartmentIn less than minutes, the new technician had our freezer functioning like it was brand new, and he also took the time to show us the inner workings of the appliance and keep us fully informed about its mechanical infrastructure More than ever, we are convinced that we are entitled to a full refund from Appliance Science due to Darryl's poor customer service AND inferior job performance in our home

A technician from the new repair service came to our home on 12/31/2015 and diagnosed the ice flapper problem as being related to a failure with the internal ice-making system, so he ordered an entirely new ice production compartment.
On 1/6/2016, the technician returned to our home to install the new production system, and when he connected it to the ice flapper, he reported that the previous technician had imp[redacted]ly installed a metal plate on the freezer frame adjacent to the ice flapper. This mechanical error was causing the ice flapper to be held slightly open at all times. Once the metal plate installation was reversed by the new technician, the flapper easily closed with a tight seal and connected seamlessly to the new ice production compartment. In less than 30 minutes, the new technician had our freezer functioning like it was brand new, and he also took the time to show us the inner workings of the appliance and keep us fully informed about its mechanical infrastructure.
More than ever, we are convinced that we are entitled to a full refund from Appliance Science due to Darryl's poor customer service AND inferior job performance in our home.
