June 1, 2017Revdex.comJefferson St NE Ste AAlbuquerque, NM 87109Dear [redacted] We are responding to the complaint submitted to you on 5/22/ID [redacted] .Customer’s friend did bring the vacuum in to have the cord replacedWhen it was brought in, she stressedthat the customer needed the vacuum back as soon as possible due to company coming to visitShe alsorequested the cord be as long as possible.Our owner spoke with the friend and explained that the cord we had on hand was not the same brandhowever would work just as wellThe new cord would be durable and the length the customer was wanting.This cord would be cheaper in cost and we could have it replaced in the time frame that was requested.When the customer came and picked up the vacuum, she was instructed to be sure not to run over this cordlike the last one if she wanted it to last and for safety reasonsVacuum cords are not designed to be ran over!A few days after the customer took the vacuum home she called in to have the cord replacedShe told us thatshe had ran over the cord with the vacuum and it was now damaged in several placesWe explained to thecustomer that she was responsible for the damage to the cord due to negligence, but we would be happy toassist her.The customer pointed out several times in her complaint that the damage to the cord was caused by herselfand the cleaning ladyThe picture of the cord, provided by the customer, is a great example of the damage thatcan be caused when you run over a cord of any kind!As good faith, we are willing to replace the cord againWe will waive the Installation Fee and the Customerwould be responsible for the cost of the cordNo money will be refunded.Best Regards,TonB [redacted] Service Manager###-###-#### [redacted]

they are not charged the service call. That is why the $85.00 is crossed off. In this case the repair had to be done to know if that was the problem. No matter what the repair is our minimum charge to do any repair is $165.00+ tax. I explained this to her mother at the time and nothing was said. I am sorry that [redacted] Misunderstood our fees.
