Sales Service and Parts to My Complaint Dear Ms*** ***, Thank you for forwarding me the response of ASAP Appliance Sales Service and Parts to my formal complaint against itThis response shows no intention of ASAP Appliance Sales Service and Parts to accept its responsibilities and to resolve the problems and is therefore totally unacceptableOne can also glimpse from this 2-sentence response how low the professional level of this company is. As detailed in my September 29, complaint, technician *** *** from ASAP Appliance Sales Service and Parts fixed the capacitor of the microwave oven in my rental house on August 2, 2017, but the capacitor he replaced broke on August 21, 2017, only one week after my tenants moved inUnder the 90-day warranty contract written in the receipt, ASAP Appliance Sales Service and Parts is responsible for fixing it *** finally came to fix the capacitor on September 12, 2017, i.e., weeks after he found the capacitor was broken againSince *** did not understand what the problem was as he told me on the morning of September 12, in the process of attempting to fix the microwave oven, he broke additional parts: power control board and wire harnessThis was the so-called “another issue” that ASAP Appliance Sales Service and Parts’s response referred toSince the power control board and wire harness broke after *** attempted repairs on September 12, 2017, it is obviously his and ASAP Appliance Sales Service and Parts’s responsibility to replace themHowever, at that point, *** refused to take responsibility for what he did with an excuse that the power control board is no longer availableThis excuse was repeated in the response of ASAP Appliance Sales Service and Parts. The claim that the power control board is no longer available is completely falseAs explained in my complaint, for my model (UMC5200BAB), 1st Source Servall (817-918-4197), a local appliance parts store, has the power control board in stockYou can also order it from Whirlpool (1-800-253-1301), the manufacturer of my Maytag microwave oven, and a couple of appliance parts companies such as AppliancePartsPros.com and Easyapplianceparts.comEverybody can call these companies to verify. Even if the power control board is no longer available, that does not exempt *** and ASAP Appliance Sales Service and Parts from their warranty obligationsThey are liable for its damage and should reimburse me for replacing it, as well as the wire harness, which is available. The behaviors and practices of *** and ASAP Appliance Sales Service and Parts have breached their contract for 90-day parts and labor warranty and violated the basic business principles of honesty, fairness, and responsibilitySince *** and ASAP Appliance Sales Service and Parts cannot fix the problem of my microwave oven and broke the power control board and wire harness, they should be held accountableAgain, I request that ASAP Appliance Sales Service and Parts either repair the damaged control board and wire harness and any unfixed initial problem that I already paid for, or refund me for those parts if it cannot fix the microwave ovenIf ASAP Appliance Sales Service and Parts continues to refuse either repair or refund, it will invite legal actions against itIf ASAP Appliance Sales Service and Parts continues its irresponsible, terrible, and warranty-breaking business practices, it should never be accredited by the Revdex.com Sincerely, *** ***
