Worst customer services I ever came across
They came to fix my washer and the problem was not resolved
the owner of the company had the worst attitude, customer service and work ethics I experienced in a long time
If you are seeking a good service and good work ethics, stay away from appliance Tech

My experience was poor at best. After working with this company for 1 week, I've decided to never allow them in my home or near my appliances. After reading other online reviews, my experience was validated. Poor communication and incredibly rude employee. Not for me. ","neg-1

We have been without a stove for 2 weeks, offered to pay overnight charge for needed parts. Appliance tech has been extremely unhelpful. We have a 5 member household with 2 small girls and a baby. Our electric range failed/shorted out and we contacted the manufacturer who contacted Appliance Tech. After the technician diagnosed the problem we have had EXTREME difficulty getting any real answers on why the repairs have not been done yet. WE offered to pay overnight charges to get the part to Appliance Tech and they refused. Out of desperation I got another technician to look at the range and he said the issue is easily fixed and ALMOST ANY REPAIR FACILITY KEEPS THE PART IN STOCK!! SO now I have spent money out of my own pocket to confirm what I was afraid of. Also the technician has heard of appliance tech and said they have horrible service, which is true! Also, their technician could have temporarily fixed our range instead of leaving us with no means to cook for 2 weeks!Failure to respond to our calls, failure to respond to calls from manufacturer, failure to provide service, probable lying, probable shady business practices, customer neglect, foot dragging. All those things apply to this incident.Desired SettlementI want to be reimbursed for the food we lost, the money I have spent, the time my wife and I have spent on the phone.... this experience has been two weeks of frustration and lost money.in my mind appliance tech owes me well over $250Business Response Contact Name and Title: APPLIANCE TECH INCContact Phone: [redacted]Contact Email: [redacted]APPLIANCE TECH INC IS A FACTORY AUTH SERVICE COMPANY AND HAS BEEN WITH [redacted] OVER 40 YRS. APPLIANCE TECH INCConsumer Response Of course my wife was rude, this company was asked on multiple occasions not to call her phone any more. They were to contact myself. We offered to pay overnight charges multiple times. The amount of frustration that happens when you can only cook with a grill/crockpot with a baby and two kids rises quickly over a TWO WEEK or longer wait. Then we get a call the day they were supposed to finish repair asking if range was fixed?? Why would we get that call???? Appliance tech IS the one wha was supposed to fix it!And yes, we lost food. Food that was to be baked, which you can't do in a microwave. To even ask that shows how truly insincere the apology is.The wait was RIDICULOUS, the bouncing back and forth and calls not being returned was unprofessional. Now I suppose appliance tech has accepted warranty payment for a job never done?Final Business Response READRESSING THE ISSUEPROBLEM: THE RANGE WILL NOT HEATTHE DIAGNOSIS WITH THE RANGE IS A BURNED OFF TERMINAL BLOCK CAUSED OF PROBLEM IMPROPERLLY INSTALLED BY EITHER CONSUMER OR DEALERPARTS NEED TO BE FACTORY AUTHORIZED AND CERTIFIED BY [redacted]PARTS FOR THE RANGE WERE NOT IN STOCK WE HAD TO ORDER THE TERMINAL BLOCK WE HAVE NO RECORDS OF CUSTOMER CALLING AND REQUESTING NEXT DAY SHIPMENT,IF AVAILABLE PLEASE FORWARD DATE AND TIME OF SUCH CALL. Unsatisfactory repair and communications.[redacted] refrig, bought 1/5/2008, model [redacted]. Purchased service contract 3/8/2011. On 3/10/2015 I called for service. Appliance Tech scheduled an appointment for 3/13, they cancelled & rescheduled for 3/19. From 3/20 - 6/24/15 I saw 2 technicians plus the owner, and none of them seemed to know what the problem was or even why they were here. (part of the delay was due to my travel schedule, however I still continued to call while I was away) The owner, after several visits, finally said I needed a new condenser. I called many times to check on the delivery status and I got conflicting reports, some said part was in some said it wasn't. Several times I received calls from them also with conflicting reports. The next time he showed up he said I did not need a condenser, however, the warranty company called and asked about the condenser. When I said it had not been replaced I was told that they had been charged for it. The owner of Appliance Tech denied this. The first time that the owner came to repair he pulled the drawer out of the freezer and it stayed out until his last visit. When he finally tried to replace it, it wouldn't go in so he asked my husband to help. Finally the tech FORCED the part in and it broke. He said he would replace the drawer. After many calls to Appliance Tech with no return calls I finally received a call, while I was on vacation, with the owner telling me the part wasn't under warranty and I stated that HE broke it and HE should replace it. He became very rude and confrontational saying my husband must have broken the drawer. I told him I was watching when he tried to replace the drawer and it was HIS side that broke, and that I would be lodging complaints against the company and he just laughed. I have called again many times and never receive a return call. The owner of Appliance Tech should be out of business. He has a very bad attitude and is rude! He and his company have a very bad reputation in this area.In order to reach this company you call an 800 number or a 252 number but only get to speak to an operator who e-mails the info to the techs. The owner stated that the answering service is either in Washington state or Iowa.Desired SettlementI would like a new drawer for my freezer to replace the one that was broken by Appliance Tech.Business Response IN RESPONSE TO THIS COMPLAINT MRS. [redacted] FORGOT TO MENTION THAT THE ORIGINAL COMPLAINT WAS THAT THE REFRIGERATOR WAS NOT COOLING. SHE ALSO FORGOT TO MENTION THAT ANOTHER SERVICE COMPANY HAD BEEN OUT TO REPAIR HER UNIT TWO TO FOUR TIMES PRIOR TO US LOOKING AT THIS UNIT. WE ASKED WHO WORKED ON THIS UNIT BEFORE AND SHE DENIED ANY SERVICE WAS PREFORMED. I SHOWED HER THAT SOMEONE PUT A TEMPORARY SERVICE ACCESS VALVE ON THE UNIT AND SHE STILL DENIED. WE HAVE PICTURES SHOWING WHAT WAS DONE TO THIS UNIT BY OTHER SERVICE PROVIDERS. WE PUT TEMPERATURE MONITORS IN UNIT TO CHECK THAT THE UNIT WAS IN FACT NOT COOLING AND SHOWED THE CUSTOMER CHARTS. WE REPLACED TEMPORARY UNAUTHORIZED VALVE THAT WAS INSTALLED AND REPLACED WITH AUTHORIZED PERMANENT VALVE.RECHARGED SYSTEM AND UNIT IS COOLING PROPERLY TO MANUFACTURE SPECS. MRS [redacted] SHOULD BE LIABLE FOR ALL SERVICES PREFORMED SINCE UNAUTHORIZED EQUIPMENT WAS IN THIS REFRIGERATOR. WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED BY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY COMPANY TO NO LONGER WORK ON UNIT DUE TO UNAUTHORIZED REPAIRS. Consumer Response Yes, I did call the warranty company and Appliance Tech did come out because the unit was not cooling. Yes others had worked on the unit before Appliance Tech, however they were from the warranty company. I actually got the extended warranty because there had been so many repairs. When I asked where the previous technician was [redacted] (owner of Appliance Tech)said that he was no longer with them. I never denied that I had work done and as far as I knew it was repaired properly. Appliance Tech said it was done improperly. I had repairs done many times before this. Many of the repairs were done in 2012 & 2013. The warranty started on 3/08/2011 and is still in effect.Again, it was over two years ago, and let's face it, since I have an extended warranty why would I get an outside person to do the work. My issue with this awful company is with the owner of Appliance Tech breaking the freezer drawer. In their response Appliance Tech actually states that I told them of previous service being done. Later in the response they say I denied having work done previously. Anyone who goes to websites for reviews, such as [redacted], can see that Appliance Tech is a sub-par company. Oh, the company gave my name, I thought personally identifiable. Why was that? I am not liable for any of this!Final Business Response Appliance Tech is an authorized service provider for [redacted] and Federal Warranty Assurant Company. Appliance Tech was sent out to this customer after several attempts to repair this unit by other service providers. They could not repair this refrigerator and this is why Appliance Tech was sent out. Appliance Tech repaired the no cooling issue with this refrigerator at no cost to the consumer. We have finally received a statement agreeing that other service providers had worked on this unit. We are advised by the extended warranty company to have her contact them with all questions and or concerns regarding her repair.

Authorized by Manufacturer to repair refrigerator and ice maker. After numerous appointments repairs were not completed.Temperature rises is refrigerator and ice maker in door will not work at all. [redacted] authorized parts and labor to fix since we have had the problem ever since the unit was brand new. Appliance Tech comes on two occasions and leaves, problem happens again on the next day. Last time they came tech said more parts were needed and he thought we had a lemon, never heard from them again and left messages daily for weeks, then many messages a day for weeks. Desired SettlementFull accounting for all work done and the amount that the Manufacturer paid them. Ice Maker has NEVER worked and they have replaced parts numerous times, some at my expense and others paid by manufacturer. Will not return calls to schedule repairs and now manufacturer indicates they say it is fixed and no other repairs are authorized. REPAIRS have NEVER been completed and we can't even get them to call to discuss.Business Response Hello, We have spoken several times over the phone regarding this issue. We have called the manufacture regarding your refrigerator and have done every known fix for your unit with no avail. We have done multiple service calls for your unit and have not been paid for parts or labor, and are at a stand still just as you are. We have discussed and agreed that this is now the manufactures' issue and they should be contacting you as to what they will do. If you have any other questions or concerns please contact us directly and we will solve them together.Thank youAppliance Tech Consumer Response Unfortunately, we have been unable to obtain in writing the fact that they deem our appliance is not able to be repaired. I have requested this on numerous occasions and think that this will help me with my case. As far as payment for the work you have done, [redacted] indicates that the payments have been made. Since they authorized the parts and labor and we provided you with those authorization numbers I feel that we have done all we can do. I would think that as part of your customer service you would provide us with your professional opinion that we purchased a lemon appliance in writing. Short of that it is your word against theirs and we are left to try to ascertain who is telling the truth, we should not be placed in that position We are now requesting, as we have from the start proof of the statements which have been made to us regarding the fact that our appliance is a fire hazard and can not be repaired.

Complaint company lie to [redacted] and said they came to my home which they never did .They told [redacted] my house had bugs and it was non work conditions they never came to my house but lie to [redacted] about coming to my house. Desired SettlementTHEY NEED TO TELL [redacted] THE TRUTH AND SEND IN PAPERWORK SHOWING WHERE THEY CAME INTO MY HOME WHICH THEY NEVER DID. BECAUSE OF THEM I DID NOT GET MY FOOD REFUNDS . [redacted] BELIEVES THIS COMPANY FIX MY APPLIANCE. THEY DID NOT THEY GAVE A FALSE CLAIMBusiness Response WE HAVE BEEN TO CUSTOMER HOUSE IN THE PAST 08/13/15 AND 01/13/16 SERVICED WASHER BOTH TIMES. THERE WAS NO ISSUE WITH THE CUSTOMER NOR THEIR HOME. OFFICE GIRL (WHO IS NO LONGER WITH OUR COMPANY ) HAD ENTERED WRONG INFORMATION NOTES ON THIS CUSTOMER'S NEXT TICKET dated 06/22/16. THE INFORMATION RESULTED IN REJECTING SERVICE CALL. ON 07/14/16 RECEIVED ANOTHER SERVICE TICKET AND THIS WAS REJECTED ALSO DUE TO THE WRONG NOTES ON THE PREVIOUS TICKET. WE DID NOT LIE NOR GIVE FALSE CLAIM TO [redacted] WE DID NOT SUBMIT ANY CLAIMS FOR PAYMENT. THIS WAS A ERROR AND A MISTAKE.
