Appliance Repair in Murfreesboro

I called this "company" to repair my appliance. Charged $60 to send out a 3rd party repairman. Address on website is a residence. aka Appliance HD.
Contacted Appliance Repair in Murfreesboro to repair my Bosch washing machine. I was told by my local appliance repairman that there was only one Bosch repairman & he was in Murfreesboro, so I google-searched that. Lucky for them that's how they get customers, because when their website came up it claims to be #1 rated, has address listed on bottom of site, claims to have all their repairmen available 24-7, etc. My husband called & they said there was a $60 charge, but it could be applied to parts & labor. We set up appointment. When repairman came & diagnosed the problem, he said total would be over $200we asked for $60 charge to be applied to total, and that's when we realized he was a third party repairman & had nothing to do with the company "Appliance Repair." In fact he said he knows them as "Appliance HD." He said the charge is for them to cover the google-search fees, and he isn't paid through them at all. He said to call them about the fee, and they could possibly refund it. I called to request the refund & explained the situation. The guy I spoke with said he could pull the "recorded transcript" referring to the $60 charge & I told him yes please do that, as well as to let me speak with his manager. About 30 minutes later *** called from the "company" saying she was the customer service rep & went on and on about that not being their policy re. the $60 refund, etc. I said I would like to hear the recording & she said let me pull it up......and then hung up on me. After doing further research on their website, I see the address listed in Murfreesboro is for a residential home, clearly not a business. I also looked up the Appliance HD website, which is the company our repairman said he knew the company as, and they have a *** area code, plus clearly state that all jobs are serviced by a third party. None of that information is mentioned on the Murfreesboro, TN website run by "Appliance Repair." At the very least they are misleading & dishonest with their advertising & website practices.

we contacted the Appliance Repair in Murfreesboro the week of June 10th. They scheduled a mechanic to come to our house on June 14th. The mechanic (***) came out and diagnosed our machine. He advised that a part was needed and he would order it, but that we would need to pay for it up front. It cost $61.17. He stated that he would come out the following Monday. Monday rolled around and there was no sign of him. We started called the business on Wednesday. We were told, "I'll have to send an email and they will call you." We have never received a phone call and the receptionist refused to connect me with a manager. On Friday, June 21st, a manager must have been manning the phones. The person took my complaint more seriously. *** texted me that evening and said that he would come out the following week. That was the last I have heard from him. We have contacted Appliance Repair almost every day since. Each time, we are told, "I have to send an email." They have essentially wiped their hands cleaning, stating that *** is a contractor and they are not responsible for what their contractors do. We have also texted *** each day, politely asking him to contact us, and have heard nothing.

All we want is either the part, or the $61.17 returned.
