When we build a paver patio, materials are unloaded onto the driveway and then moved to the backyard with a skidsteer loader. Running the skidsteer repetitively over blacktop can cause scrapes and scratches. As careful as we are, wear and tear on driveways and lawns is
inevitable. Because of this, it is clearly stated on our contract that Suncraft is not responsible for damage to vegetation, driveways, concrete, blacktop, sidewalks, etc
The scratches and marks on your blacktop driveway are superficial and can be successfully remedied by filling and sealcoating. Replacement of your driveway is not necessary
As a good faith effort, Suncraft is arranging to have your blacktop driveway repaired and sealcoated at no cost to you. It will look as good if not better than it did before we started work
Regarding your concrete approach, there is no damage caused by Suncraft. We did not run our skidsteer on it or damage it in any way. The defects you showed me are called “popouts”. They are present all over your entire approach. Popouts are a pre-existing defect in your concrete and are caused when aggregate with a high moisture content freezes and swells causing the concrete to explode. The other marks and scrapes you showed me are also pre-existing and are present everywhere including all the sidewalks. They could have been caused by a snow plow or snow blower
I have already reached out to a reputable driveway sealcoat company. Just as soon as they can confirm a schedule, I will let you know.

I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted].  Suncraft did address the window installation issues I raised to my satisfaction.  There are many nice features with our new porch.  However, there are a couple design elements (of which I raised with Suncraft throughout) that are now permanent to the structure preventing me from signing off as a 100% satisfied customer.  These design element concerns were not part of my complaint to the Revdex.com.  I simply cannot give the impression ALL is well with my Suncraft porch due to them satisfactorily addressing the window issues I raised as part of this complaint.  Yes, we will enjoy our new porch for years to come.  No, I won't be able to overlook the design elements any time soon.There is the open issue with my concrete driveway and how they committed exceptionally to clean up.  I'll look forward to them successfully addressing similarly to how they successfully addressed my window installation.Regards,
