discounted purchase (we purchased it for a reduced price). We offered this piece to Mr. Wise for $[redacted], he said he wanted a second piece and we told him we would need to get a price on the new piece in order to give him a correct price. We did not give him any pricing for getting this new piece as we had no idea what the pricing would be. We contacted the manufacture and were quoted a wholesale price of $[redacted] including shipping (this piece is 72” x 60”) . This piece will match the existing piece we have in stock. We contacted the customer regarding the new part and quoted him $[redacted] for the new part (we would profit $[redacted] a **% margin). Mr. Wise did not like the new price for the new part and became abusive on the phone to our sales associate that is when I said we would not sell the existing part to him, not because we want to make more money but because of his attitude toward our sales associate.   Regardless of what Mr. [redacted] believes this is not about the amount of profit to be made on this sale. He cannot be abusive to our sales associate when he does not like the price.  A professional relationship is the responsibility of both the customer and the retailer and I believe this responsibility was not upheld by Mr. [redacted].   If Mr. Wise would like to move forward with the purchase he may contact me and I will sell him the piece which is in stock for $[redacted] and if he wants me to order the other piece at $[redacted] I will do so but we cannot sell him a second piece for $[redacted]. Tom D[redacted]

[redacted]The description of events as described by the manager is not accurate.  First and foremost, at no point was I abusive.  Secondly, the sales associate clearly stated that both the original piece and the to be ordered piece would be now priced at $[redacted] each.  This was reneging on the deal made.  I have no further interest in dealing with Appomattox River Company now or in the future.  My thanks to Revdex.com for airing my complaint and the response from Appomattox River Company doesn't surprise me.
