When I first met the client, I informed her that appraisals normally take five business days to complete, however since her property was unique (unique architectural style on high acreage) that it would take a little longer to completeAdditionally, during the course of time I had to reevaluate the work I already completed as the client changed the scope of work we had previously agreed to by informing me she would be making substantial improvements to the property, and requesting I complete the appraisal based on a hypothetical condition that was different from the first approach to the assignment which we had agreedThis caused the results to take longerNevertheless, I reached out to the client to discuss the new work to be included and to update her on the time frameThe fee arrangement that the client refers to is correct; it is customary in appraising, as with any service where the product is that of intellectual property delivered in an electronic report format, not tangible property, to receive the fee upfrontThe client was provided with status updates and communications throughout the process, the final product was delivered as promised, on 08/14/and I have an emailed receipt that the client did receive the appraisalThe client's statements that "I have not received any answers" and "They took my $and disappeared!" are untrue and unwarrantedMy company followed through on the work that was requested and did so in a professional manner, and provided a product that was high quality, completed with careIn years of business, I have never received a complaint through the Revdex.com, and I look forward to seeing this correctly resolved, thank you
The appraisal was submitted to me, after the business recieved the complaint I filed with the Revdex.comIt took filing said complaint to hear back from the businessNot good business practice considering that I have never had to file a Revdex.com complaint in my life in dealing with any businessThe business owner should brush up his communication since this could have been avoided had he responded to either of two texts or one voicemail, spaced within a whole week.
