Do not use this elevator company We have a *** Lev home elevator The elevator entered an Eerror state and became stuck after the inner door was opened prematurely After hours of diagnosis, Silver State said that the controller was defective and that both it and the wiring harness needed to be replaced at a cost of over $12,because Thysson Krupp no longer provided spare parts
We called another elevator company and they solved the problem in minutes by simply resetting the controller They also said that even though *** was no longer actively supporting their home elevators, spare parts are, contrary to Silver State's statement, readily available

I had J***as my representative today replacing my ceiling fan/light in my bathroom He was very professional and courteous He did a very good job and I felt comfortable having him in my house He also changed my outside bulbs for me which I thought was very nice of him I was very pleased with his service

When I first signed up with HEP, they came out promptly and inspected my house and were very professionalI ended up getting a new furnace and air conditionerThey were quick to take my money, but it was like pulling teeth to get someone out to install the unitsI scheduled a morning appointment a week in advanceThey didn't even bother to call to say they were going to be late or cancelAfter calling over and over, they finally made it out with the units and didn't finish installing until almost midnight that nightAbout a month later, the local utility company made a courtesy call to tell me that my water bill was almost $The water pressure regulator was an original unit and had water deposit built up so bad that it finally blew a sealI guess the guy for the plumbing inspection just missed itSomething so evident was missedSo, $for a new regulator on top of a $bill I asked if they could give me a couple days to pay them to make sure I had the money available, they said "no" Now I'm waiting on them to install a door over the furnace that they didn't doI scheduled this appointment over a week and a half ago and they only sent me someone to inspect the unitI have to take a week's unpaid vacation to make sure I'm around so that they can do some work They told me someone will be here tomorrow morning now I'm not getting my hopes up HEP's customer service is horribleMost likely going to look toward Hiller or someone else after my year of being a "discount customer" is up

We were very satisfied with the service that HEP tech Jason B. gave us. He was prompt, professional and fast.

Thank you, Jonathan H. and Jason T. for doing such an EXCELLENT job replacing all of our plumbing underneath and inside the house. You both were knowledgeable, courteous, and answered all of our questions. We highly recommend these two fine young men and will definitely request them in the future!

Our septic tank backed up and when we called HEP they quoted us $319 to fix the problem. Once out here the technician kept saying we needed this and that and within just a few minutes the price jumped to $1200. When we told him we couldn't afford that he still charged us $99 for showing up. We would have never agreed to have him show up if we knew there was a possibility of him increasing the price after the fact. We weren't warned ahead of time that the price could change or that we would be charged $99 if we couldn't afford the higher price. This is a total SCAM. I [redacted] tell everyone I know to never use this dishonest company.

Our first encounter with them (for a plumbing/electrical visit ), early last year, was very good. It was good enough that we joined their membership plan to receive "priority service and discounted rates" in the future as loyal customers.
However, 2 months ago, I had a portion of my ceiling collapse due to a roof leak, and the service from HEP since then has been atrocious. For 8 weeks, they have repeatedly failed to return phone calls, not shown up for appointments, failed to put scheduled appointments in the books, and I am now being told they are completely booked for the next 6 months and that I should "look at other companies" for the estimates I need. Last week I contacted the office on Thursday to request a refund for my membership, and was told they only do refunds on Friday, so they took my information to call me back before I went to work the following day. No one called by the allotted time, so I called back. I was told the person issuing the refund was out to lunch and would call when they returned. It is now the following Wednesday, and I have yet to get my refund.
I have spent the past 2 months chasing HEP and rearranging my work schedule to accomodate appointments that never took place. I hope that the communication issues and professionalism can be addressed so that, in the future, this company can live up to the standards that it claims it has. But as for my family, we will no longer be dealing with HEP for any of our household needs.

On Thursday, Nov 10, 2016, I had backed up plumbing, I knew my septic system hadn't been cleaned in almost 20 years. My daughter called 2 different companies, one said they could be here faster than the other. [redacted] were here first. He charged us $100 and told us he couldn't get his probe further than 2inches into the ground and couldn't find the septic tank. HEP sent a man out, after hours, considering the fact that they passed by and saw another company here. The gentleman HEp sent out after dark, brought his wife with him to hold the flash light ( thank God) and 'found' the septic tank, sucked it out, covered it back up. They were here til almost 11 pm, and charged nothing extra. It cost $299 for it all to be done correctly, even though [redacted] charged me $100 to dig 2 holes in my yard that weren't even close to where the septic tank was

The team that did our yearly routine check was very friendly and
professional. They did a great job. We needed a early appointment the person
who set up our appointment said they would try to be there between 8 and 10
they were at my home at 8 that was awesome .the team checked out the inside
unit then the outside also did temperature checks.they also answered any
questions we had. Our unit is only a year old but this is a nice service you
offer.

On Dec. 14, 2016, Will and Jonathan from HEP removed my old hot water heater and replaced it with a new one. I had already drained it with a garden hose and cleaned up the water where it had leaked, so that much was done. They were very professional. Once they sized up the situation, they explained how everything was going to be done. I literally was able to relax while they were installing the new water heater. Those guys didn't make a mess or a lot of noise. They were careful, and I am very satisfied with what they did. The customer service folks that I spoke to on the phone were also very professional. Thank you all very much, HEP.
