I purchased 2 vehicles one in 2019 around April-May and I was charged extended warranty for around 2000$ even though the car had manufacturer warranty from *** Canada , again I traded in the car for a different car in 2020 Feb for a 2018 *** , now again I was charged extra 3000$ for the extended warranty , even this car still had manufacturer warranty from *** Canada , I've been charged extra close to 5000$ for a warranty which I never used or needed one ! I was told it was a requirement from the financial company to have the extra warranty , I called and spoke to them and they said all warranties are upsold by the Dealership and they don't have a control on it. I also spoke to *** warranty the place where the warranty was purchased and one of the manager *** explained to me some dealership *** and they only sell the product , Dealership control the prices
I was not explained by the dealer about the warranty and I could have taken the warranty directly from the Manufacturer which cost less then 500$ depending on what I wanted as I had plans to return the car around or after one year . In less then one year I've been charged more then 5000$ on these unwanted warranties .I want the dealership to refund me the money for what they have charged. I will also go to small claims court and consumer court or do whatever is necessary to get the money back. I wanted to clear my Debt and build my credit and now I am sitting with more then 33,000$ loan for a Car which is just worth around 10,000$ now

I want Refund for the 2 Warranties which I was charged even though both cars still had Manufacturer warranty from *** and *** .

I purchased a vehicle (2018 ***) with approximatly 80000 km and after contract was signed a balance of almost $34000 was due through financing on march 15 2020 from Raj at Approval Genie (General Manager) at the upper 595 upper james location in Hamilton witch was not listed on Revdex.com website. the dealer denied anything wrong with the vehicle before and after safety inspection was completed. on may 21st 2020 I had a scheduled appointment with a respected *** dealer to have the vehicle inspected as I was hearing a cranking noise under the vehicle. after a inspection was done and I was left with over a $200 service fee for inspections and oil change that I had to pay for. After all the *** dealer notified me that there was previous damage done to the frame of the car before time of purchase. When I went to go pick the car up. I notice the frame of the vehicle was cracked and was educated by the dealer that the vehicle should have never been passed a safety inspection in this condition. after that was all Sayed and done, I've contacted approval genie and raj personally numerous times and they will not provide a straight answer to the solution or follow up on any of my calls or letters that I have personally mailed to there office.

Bottom line, the vehicle should have not been certified as it is not fit to be driven. the repair costs are upwards to around $5000 and that does not provide a permanent solution as they have one solution to fixing the problem and it would be to weld the frame back together witch could in turn brake at any point again.

what I expect the outcome to be is the vehicle to be exchanged for another asap or a cancelation of the contract.

You people at Approval genie just played with the lives of me and my three kids

this is Erum Naz, I'm a client of Approval Genie, Received my Chevy Orlando in May 2019. My credit score. was not good and I applied for a car financing and they approved me. My credit was not good and I can't get a cosigner as I'm alone here with my three kids.I was in need of vehicle desperately. They swish their wand, at approval genie, and said that Lend care has approved my car financing.
Now the actual thing is yes they provide me with car but after two months that car is giving me troubles. I called to the person who was handling my application but he didn't pick up my call and after 3 months he said that he is not anymore working with Approval Genie. I called the Lend Care people several times as they are charging me very high rate of interest and they said that"we are only the financier, you should talk to Mega Motors.(the dealership). I went to the dealership.
what is the problem in the car, It's transmission is broken and in just 2 months. Car's mileage is very low (1K). I again picked up my kids (aged 15 years, 7 years,and 16 months). Went to three different mechanics and they were are saying the same the car is giving two codes and it's transmission is broken. Because OF THIS WHILE DRIVING CAR ON THE STREET,IT'S SPEED GOES DOWN WITHOUT ANY SIGN OR WARNING AND IT STOP PICKING UP. NO MATTER HOW MUCH PRESSURE YOU ARE PUTTING ON GAS. I used my car with my kids and when it happens my kids got scared and younger two cries.
Being a mother here alone with three kids I'm doing whatever is in my position. IT'S SCARY THAT ON THE STREET YOUR CAR STOPS AND ANY CAR CAN HIT YOU FROM ANY SIDE. I went to mega motors they said that your credit score is bad and we can't do anything with the car and you need a cosigner. If my credit score is bad or worse. it does not allow you to give me a junk. You are the dealer just take the responsibility and fix the car. I made the contract in the time of need. I'm MOM with MY KIDS here. nothing know about the car. But you know everything about the car and it's engine. rather then providing me wit service, you are again giving me stories. if my credit is not good as other people denied me you should say NO WE CAN"T APPROVED YOU FOR A CAR. Giving your customer the WHO doesn't know anything about engine of interior of the car. Apiece of trash.
Yesterday I went to my college as usual, on the way going there I again called to Mega Motors they representative their again said the same thing that "you must have a cosigner". I DON'T WANT A NEW CAR I JUST WANT THIS ONE TO BE FIXED AND I CAN"T PAY FOR ANY PROBLEM WHICH I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE". On the way back, CAR AS USUAL STOP RESPONDING AND THE SPEED GOES TO 0MPH, I WAS AT HIGHWAY 10. A TRAILER WAS COMING BEHIND ME WITH THE SAME SPEED, I WAS ALMOST RUN OVER BY THAT TIME AROUND 5:30. You people at mega motors if can't fix this car,as when we finance car from Toyota or any other dealership they takes the responsibility and consumers are always been protected by their policies. If something happened to me because of this, there is no one who can take care of my kids. Your consumer is asking what is their right, or if you can't provide me with the services then take back the car.

By helping me you people just help yourself. I'm here single mother with three kids. You people don't take responsibility of your bad work. Moreover the 2 OXYGEN CYLINDERS are not working. Your financial advisor said to me CARS ARE LIKE HUMAN< BUT SIR YOUR RESEMBLANCE IS VERY BAD BECAUSE YOUR CAR HAD CANCER AND YOU JUST GAVE IT TO ME EVEN AFTER KNOWING THAT.

I purchased a vehicle from Approval Genie on or about July 6th. At the time of purchase the sales agent *** promised me a vehicle with new tires and brakes. He also told me that because this is a used vehicle that it would have some repairs needed but they would cover all costs. My husband picked up the vehicle and he advised *** of some body work that needed done and he advised my husband that we would schedule body shop time for that. At the time of purchase I was also shown a car fax report that was clean. The first week I was having some front end issues and sensor problems so I took it to *** since it is under warranty. *** advised me in writing that the vehicle has been in a front end accident and the repairs would not be done under warranty. I was very upset and contacted the bank and the dealer. Bank advised me that the dealer can cancel the contract since it is within my legal period. I advised the dealer I wanted to cancel contract they refused. ***. I then decided I do not have a choice I need it fixed. *** offered to get me in for repairs for all the problems. I waited to 2 weeks. I tried calling and texting him with no response. I went to the dealer and *** advised me that he will get me in when he can. I never heard from him. I stopped by another evening with my husband and *** was there and he was extremely *** to us again. Someone named *** said he is a Manager and he would be our new contact and help us get the vehicle repairs done. I was given his phone number and I texted him to see when he can get the vehicle repaired and no response. I even sent a registered letter and no response. ***. I just want the repairs done or this contract cancelled.

Desired Outcome

I would either like the vehicle to be inspected by an *** dealer of my choice and have any repairs done at the dealer expense. I would also need a rental vehicle while the repairs are being done at the dealers expense. The other option would be a full refund and they can have the vehicle back.

Purchase a vehicle from Approval Genie in Ottawa on the 23 Jul, 2018. At the signing, I was told that iwould received a second key for the vehicle but only in 2 weeks, my partner was present with salesrep. 3 months when by and still no key. textes the sales rep multiple time and yet he told me no that has not arrived yet! like he promised. Now apprently he never said that but yet I have all the text echange with him that he will look into this. I am requesting the second key for the car. Twisting words to his power to a customer is totally unprofessional.
I am still requesting this key. Where is it! it's beyond the 2 weeks!!!.

I want the second key!!!! for the vehicule that i purchase from them.

One fine day, I went online and wanted to find out what car deals are offered in my area. This website by the name of canada drives.ca popped up and I was asked to fill a form. I started filling it out, in anticipation that I will find the prices offered around my area. I gave incomplete name and address and they started asking for my social insurance number. at that point I closed the page, realizing its one of those ***.

Right after that I started receiving emails and phone calls from a guy " ***" , to be polite, I replied to his email saying i'm not interested and would like my information deleted as I provided my address. He asked , for security reasons call me and I will verify you and delete the application. I called and provided my name at which point he started saying, " dont do it again as it's a hard pull on your credit", I said, how can it be, I never gave my name or social insurance number.

He said, you work at a bank and should know that credit check can be done just by postal code and employment. At that point, I got pissed as I was never read a disclosure and didn't even give my name let alone SIN and they did a hard check. This company has unethical practices and needs to be investigated. I would like this removed from my credit.

Hi *** - I have reviewed the phone call and communication that you had with our associate. Unfortunately there seems to be an obvious misunderstanding. Your credit report has never been pulled by our organization. Our associate followed the correct procedure in safe-guarding the information you provided and asked you the necessary security questions. He gave you advice in regards to further safeguarding your information which was: don't fill out an online credit application if you don't need credit - because the disclosure on CanadaDrives' website states explicitly: "You also acknowledge and agree that any dealers or other persons or organizations to which we have disclosed your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy, may request a credit report for any legitimate purpose associated with your application for credit, extending credit, modifying the terms of your credit agreement, or collection on your account." Your desired resolution is not possible because your credit was never pulled or checked by us due to false information that you knowingly provided.

The guys basically confirmed that my credit was pulled. When I probed further, as to whether it was a soft or hard check, he clearly said that it's a hard check.

My name is Eric D and I received my vehicle 3 weeks ago after. The SUV was delivered to my residence in the evening and prior to this, I was not able to physically inspect the condition of the vehicle. The following day, I had noticed that my SUV had a dent on the driver side and scratches on the passenger side door. I immediately contacted Sidh and received no replies. So, I went to their office in Mississauga to voice my concern. After a week, my vehicle was scheduled for repairs. I took a day off as the appointment was for 1130 am. After arriving at the dealership and providing them my keys. The receptionist informed me that I can just go home and that they will inform me when the repairs are complete. No courtesy was taken into account and was just told to *** it back at my own expense. I was promised reimbursment for the inconvenience and that my vehicle would be returned with a full tank of gas. The following day, my SUV was returned with the dent fixed. Upon doing another inspection I found new scratches on the driver side and passenger side. My gas was never filled and was sitting at half tank. I contacted Sid, but he has not replied. Also, I tried contacting Amarito (General Manager) and left a voicemail on the poor way my vehicle was handled and poor customer service. I have not heard or been contacted by Auto genie to correct these issues. So, despite the fast approval process. Do no expect the vehicle that you are looking for because they will provide you with the "banks" preference on the vehicle that you can be approved for. Also, if you are looking to have any issues corrected after signing the forms and receiving your vehicle, good luck. *** They lack communication and leave customers after they make profit.

After filing my review on Revdex.com, I received a call from the owner of Approval Genie/Mega motors. He was quick to action the issues that I had brought up. And he has made arrangement to make up for the inconvenience that I had undergone. The resolution process has gone smoothly and I am more than happy with the results and the accountability that Ash has presented. I would definitely recommend Approval Genie to friends and family, knowing that the owner cares for his customers.

All the issues I've had were rectified by Ashish and have been compensated for my inconvenience during the whole process. I'm happy to know that the owner himself takes full accountability in ensuring that Auto Genie customers are delighted with the vehicle they drive away with.

The only place you should ever buy a car!!

I want to say thanks to Rob for educating me on my credit profile and helping me get into a much better car. I was very impressed by the level of customer service I received from such a small dealer.
I also want to say that I have met the mechanic they exclusively use for all their cars and was very excited to see how picky he is. The dealer has been great and and taking care of everything just like they should without any arguments.
