I initially requested a meeting with an Appstar representative solely to gather information about their services, pricing, etcTheir representative gave me the hard sell, making it impossible to refuteI ended up signing a contract that I had no intention of signingAfter he left my office, I found myself dumbfounded that I had signed a contract and with in half an hour of him leaving, I sent him a text messaging saying that at this time I didn't want to go through with the contractThat I wanted to do more research to find out who could offer me the best service at this timeI was escalated to his manager (or another person who works for Appstar, at any rate)After talking in circles, I finally got her to agree to void the contract and the check that I gave himI got a call the next Monday and he basically told me either I would have to stick with the contract or things would get very expensive for meThey did tell me that if I could find another merchant account that was cheaper, they would meet or beat the price or let me out of the contract without any feesEasier said then doneWhen I told them that I had found a better deal with Square, they told me that they had a similar productI called to discuss this product and what it would cost, etcThey tried to get me to hook up the terminal they had sent me that I thought I had made clear I wasn't going to useAfter that, I told them that any and all further conversation would have to be done over emailEither they are talking themselves into circles or they just plainly don't listen to or give a rat's butt about what I have to sayI am still stuck in this contract and now reply to any request that I call them with "I will only talk to you via email from this point forward." Then I just don't hear from them I am so sick and frustrated with this companyThey keep flaunting their A+ rating with the Revdex.com (Revdex.com), but the way they have treated me, that's a jokeNot only has their company lost all credibility with me and anybody I know, but I have little faith in the Revdex.com as a system to rate companies if they give this one and A+ rating
