Approximately 4-5 months ago [redacted] @ Partners International called me and asked if we have Creasers. I told [redacted] that we do not sell Creasers and that maybe Tim [redacted] my sales manager would know of where she could get one. Tim did some research and informed [redacted] that Formax which we are a dealer...

for sells a creaser and Tim emailed [redacted] a brochure with the specifications of what it would do and that this unit is a special order machine and that we would order it for her as a favor since they are an existing mailing system customer for the past two years. The brochure clearly states that the speed of the machine is 1200 pieces per hour and that it is semi-automatic and NOT automatic feed. Partners International emailed us a signed sales agreement and we paid Formax for the machine upfront without any money down from Partners International. My service manager installed the machine and the machine performed as advertised in the brochure. For some unknown reason they thought that the machine fed automatically which clearly states in the brochure that it does not. 1200 pieces per hour is (1) piece every 3 seconds and that’s exactly what the machine does. After the creaser was installed and their staff trained on the machine they requested a week later that they wanted to return the machine back to Formax because the machine did not feed automatically and we asked upper management at Formax if they would take it back and credit our account but Formax refused to do so on the basis that the machine had been used and the machine performed as advertised and the creaser clearly states in the brochure that it is semi-automatic which the customer should have known before ordering.   The result of all of this is that as a small business trying to help this customer out in good faith we are out $5K, a complaint on Revdex.com, and nobody to resell this creaser to. Our core business is mail machines, folder inserters, addressing systems and as a result of this experience we will no longer offer special order machines in the future.   Kind Regards, Ron Cook

I would like to give a positive review for APS Inc. We have used their postage equipment for around 15 years and have NEVER had an issue with them! We have always been taken care of quickly if we ever needed anything.
They are so easy to work with and the techs are all great! The owner [redacted] and his wife [redacted] are the best! Especially [redacted]! :-) Just kidding! [redacted] is great, too! I would be happy to recommend APS Inc to anyone!

This company has been sending us invoices for a product that we never requested. The invoice has a due date, and a "PAST DUE" marked on it. However, if you call they admit that it is an optional product. This is a very sneaky way of trying to trick businesses into thinking they have to buy something that ends up costing over $300. Also, when I tried to explain why they need to stop sending these misleading invoices the woman on the line, [redacted], rudely said "I don't have time for this" and hung up. Well, [redacted] I'm sure your very busy sending out bogus invoices, but I'm busy too, and I don't appreciate having to take the time to get you to admit we don't owe you anything. This is a reprehensible way to treat others. I would highly recommend avoiding this business, they don't seem to be too interested in customer service or honesty.

I have been a happy client of APS for over eight years. I have never had any issues with them at all. The owners and employees are very friendly. Issues are always resolved in a professional and timely manner. I will continue to use APS for my mailing needs as long as they are around.

Review: We asked APS to see if they could source a Perforating machine for use. They are very familiar with our other equipment and our needs.

They suggested the Formax FD-230 perforator. We agreed that it appeared to meet our needs and they are "experts" in this type of equipment. What they failed to tell us that semi-automatic, means manual. This semi-automatic machine is just a cheap bulky piece of sheetmetal that requires someone to feed paper through one at a time. APS didn't even know how to make it work, but was called for payment before it was even correctly installed.

They take no ownership in their products they sell. They state they will only take it back if Formax will take it back which they won't.

If I wanted this level of service I would have just purchased the equipment online. I am sure they would have at least had "some service" and a much better price.

I would not recommend anyone using them since they take no ownership in the junk they sell!Desired Settlement: Full refund for a product that was never used! It is still sitting here unused since it will not work as explained.

I have been using APS for about a year for our mail machine. I love the technician who comes to fix our machine, he is very helpful and responsive to my requests. However, anytime I need to contact the owner or his wife its like pulling teeth to get any response or help. The poor tech must have to do everything on his own.
They dont return emails even after sending 4 and 5 pleading for help. I finally got a response when I wanted to order something I could have basically gotten cheaper on Amazon. I would NEVER EVER recommend this company to anyone. Steer Clear! They have horrible customer service.
