Complaint: [redacted] Instead, they returned on May and spent 2,hours tearing the oven apart and putting it back together again to try and discover the source of the problem This visit was unsuccessful Another visit happened from a another technician (Dan) on July where the technician checked all connections and concluded it must be the main control board.APTCO sends a Parts Diagram (exploded view) which shows the part, however, this does not indicate the ease with which you can replace the light [redacted] On his July visit Dan confirmed the ease of reaching the light for replacement. The fact that a replacement part is not available from their regular supplier seems to make APTCO think that their job is done APTCO should give ME the option of using a refurbished part and not say they are done I contend that they broke the oven [redacted] and they should therefore take appropriate action to fix it with a refurbished part at no charge! The substantial discount they talk about is related to the two extra visits they made and to replace parts that the first technician broke while trying to change the light It should never have taken minutes to replace the light and door springs Sincerely, [redacted]

I have spoken with the two service techs that were involved with this repair and this is what it took to replace the light bulb in this appliance - first you have to pull out the wall oven, remove the panel and vent trims (as per page #attached) between the microwave and the wall oven itself, you
then have to reach inside to unplug the wires to the light, then undo the screws that hold the microwave to the cabinet, slide out the microwave half way as per the parts break down attachedonce the bulb was replaced, the door spring rods were installed and the complete unit reinstalledwhen our tech tested the unit he found another problem with the control board not reverting back to the clock when the door was openHe called *** tech assist and they checked out the wiring and tech assist said the unit needed a board replaced, which unfortunately was no longer available through *** themselvesour parts dept then tried to source the part through Canadian suppliers but was told again the part was no longer availableas for us ordering a part online from some US web site that we do not know, we will not do thatwe have parts suppliers that we deal with in Canada as we are able to go back to them for warranty on the partwe did discount a considerable amount of the labour charges on this billing and feel that this is fair compensation for the consumer

[redacted]  Instead, they returned on May 11 and spent 2,5 hours tearing the oven apart and putting it back together again to try and discover the source of the problem.  This visit was unsuccessful.  Another visit happened from a another technician (Dan) on July 25 where the technician checked all connections and concluded it must be the main control board.APTCO sends a Parts Diagram (exploded view) which shows the part, however, this does not indicate the ease with which you can replace the light.  [redacted]  On his July 25 visit Dan confirmed the ease of reaching the light for replacement. The fact that a replacement part is not available from their regular supplier seems to make APTCO think that their job is done.  APTCO should give ME the option of using a refurbished part and not say they are done.  I contend that they broke the oven [redacted] and they should therefore take appropriate action to fix it with a refurbished part at no charge!  The substantial discount they talk about is related to the two extra visits they made and to replace parts that the first technician broke while trying to change the light.  It should never have taken 115 minutes to replace the light and door springs.
