Review: I paid Aqua-Bright Pools $805.95 on May **, 2014 to open my swimming pool . They hooked up the plumbing and put salt in this saltwater pool. They agreed to return the next day to vacuum the pool bottom. They agreed to replace the sand in the sand filter as well. They did not ever return to finish the work after I paid them. The worst problem was that they put in twice the recommended amount of salt. This shut down the chlorine generator, resulting in unpleasant water that stung the eyes.I called and texted them 14 times with no response except they said that I was wrong about the salt levels. I took a sample of the water to an expert tester in [redacted] who verified that the salt was at least double the amount allowed.I hired a company to pump out the water to replace it with correct amounts of salt. They also vacuumed the bottom of the pool and replaced the sand in the filter for which I had paid Aqua-Bright Pools.Desired Settlement: I want the $805.95 back from them since they did not do the work they agreed to do.

Review: AQUA BRIGHT WAS HIRED TO INSTALL A 15 X 24' ABOVE GROUND SWIMMING POOL IN JULY 2013. I INITIALLY HAD MY PUMP SET TO RUN DURING THE DAY AND THEN SWITCHED IT TO RUN OVERNIGHT. I THEN NOTICED THAT THE SUPPORT BRACES WERE COMING UP THROUGH THE LINER. I CALLED AQUA BRIGHT AND THEY SAID THEY WOULD COME ON THE [redacted]. THEY WILL FIX WHAT THEY FEEL IS THE PROBLEM AND BE DONE. I THEN CALLED A COUPLE OF POOL REPAIR COMPANIES LOCATED NEAR MY HOME AND WAS TOLD THE INSTALL IS A MESS. THE BRACES ARE MISSING SUPPORT PIECES, NOT ENOUGH SAND IN BOTTOM, RIGHT SIDE IS CURVED OUT, LEFT SIDE IS CURVED IN (OVAL POOL SIDE PANELS SHOULD BE STRAIGHT)AND BRACES NOT DUG DONE ENOUGH INTO GROUND.I SENT A TEXT TO AQUA BRIGHT WITH THIS INFO AND WAS TOLD SEE YOU ON SEPT [redacted]. WHEN I ASK [redacted] TO CONFIRM THE POOL WILL BE REPAIRED PROPERLY, MISSING PIECES WILL BE INSTALLED, ADDITIONAL SAND WILL BE ADDED, ETC I ALSO REQUESTED THEY COME AND LOOK AT THE PROBLEMS BEFORE SCHEDULE REPAIR DATE. [redacted] CALLED ME INSTEAD FOR RESPONDING TO MY TEXT AND I WAS TOLD "THEY DON'T NED TO COME LOOK, THEY KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS, WE NEED TO MOVE THE SAND AROUND, THERE ARE NO MISSING PARTS, IT DOES NOT REQUIRE ANY ADDITIONAL SAND AND THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE BRACES. SINCE SHE IS NOT WILLING TO REPAIR THE POOL CORRECTLY, I REQUESTED A REFUND AND WAS TOLD "I AM NOT PAYING YOU ANYTHING"I NEED TO PAY ANOTHER COMPANY TO REPAIR THESE DAMAGES. DAMAGES AQUA BRIGHT REFUSES TO REPAIRDesired Settlement: I NEED TO PAY A LICENSED, REPUTABLE COMPANY TO REPAIR AQUA BRIGHTS MISTAKES AND I NEED A REFUND.THEY WERE REFEREED BY A LICENSED, REPUTABLE COMPANY BUT AFTER DOING RESEARCH I FIND THEY ARE NOT LICENSED, NOT LISTED UNDER ANY BUSINESS DIRECTLY, NO PHONE LISTED UNDER ANY BUSINESS DIRECTLY AND ONLY USE A CELL PHONE.

I am not surprised the owners of Aqua Bright (located in Westchester County New York) did not respond to my complaint as they were very disrespectful during the installation of my swimming pool.

They dropped off their workers, who spoke very little English (i only speak English and the owners knew this) and there was no supervisor there to oversee any of the work. If I asked a question, the worker would immediately call the owner (will) who yelled and threatened to walk off the job (i was told my worker knows what he is doing, do not ask him any questions, do not try to speak to him). When I questioned them about the left over parts that were not installed, they refused to install them insisting that these parts were extra and not needed. I questioned the amount of sand they put in the bottom, as they barely covered the ground, they said it was enough sand, but now the pool braces are showing through the liner. They did not align the braces correctly so now the right side of my pool bows in and the left side bows out (this is an oval pool, not round). They installed my salt generator incorrectly. They installed my [redacted] and return jet upside down. Additionally while yelling at me for asking a question, the owner (will) stated "we are not licensed and I do not need to deal with this". They were referred to me by a licensed pool company so I was very surprised to hear that Aqua Bright was not licensed.

When I spoke to the owner ([redacted]) and told her that I had other pool install companies come and look to evaluate the damage. all companies confirmed the pieces are not extra, they should have been installed, braces should not be coming through the liner especially on a new installation. sides bowing in/out requires a complete rebuild to correct, etc. To all this owner of Aqua Bright Pools ([redacted]) stated that she does not need to come and see the problem, her exact words were "no parts are missing, pool does not need any more sand and there is nothing wrong with the installation"

I then requested a refund so I can pay a reputable licensed company to do the repairs , she refused, said she will not gvie me a penney and told me good luck in trying to get your money.
