Once it started working we noticed the lights, the sub, and the wifi didn't work. I called to get those and the tech was an absolute as and telling me they will send them and for me to "just replace them" no I want a tech so it is documented. I didn't pay over $11k to do their work and am not a hot tub technician.
After having the unit for 18 days the topside control goes out again shows clear condensation and completely stops working - in negative temps. They sent another controller, but forgot the overlay (which I still don't have) and it took 2 weeks to get it and get a tech to install. I have now had it installed for 16 days and it stopped working again. At this point all the customer service and tech support people know me because I have had to call so much. I still don't have the subwoofer/music or the wifi fixed (which you need to run the app to remote control and troubleshoot it).
Pay the money, go local where you can have local people that can help you with a reputable company because honestly after the sale this company doesn't and you may have gotten something cheaper but you get to deal with the nightmares. Read the review...biggest mistake and headache ever.
Worst customer experience of my life. Waited 6 months, received a hot tub with a hole in the side of it the size of a basketball. Tried to get help from my sales person but he clearly had already collected the commission check and didn't care; was a smartass about the entire issue and acted as though it was my problem to figure out not his. He told me "there is only so much I can do" but when I asked him for his manager's phone number and email, he told me he didn't know it!
Spoke to his manager eventually who pretended to care but then never responded to me again after 3 emails requesting an update on my service ticket to fix the hot tub.
Listen, I dont care about the 6 month wait as I know everything is taking longer to receive than originally expected. I do care about being respected through a business transaction where I've paid $5k+ for a product, and being treated like my business was meaningful. I shouldn't have had to work so hard to get them to resolve my issue.
Purchased 2 hot tubs from Aqual Living, within 3 months started having troubles with the control panels going out.
Purchased 2 hot tubs on 11/1/2018 from Aqua Living Factory Outets. Model HB 19 & HB 34. The cost was $6711 plus tax. The rep was Kathy Palmieri (***@gmail.com).
Estimate that about 3 months after the purchase all of a sudden the top displays started going out. I contacted the warranty department and they sent a replacement. A month later the display (operates the unit) went out again. I contacted the company again and the rep sent a new one. This continues on for several months where about every 3 months the top displays go out. I continue to contact the warranty department and the warranty department advised that I should not have purchased these hot tubs because they are not meant for vacation rental use. The rep Kathy new exactly why I bought the units and that they were shipped to my vacation rental.
I contact the warranty department again as the top display goes out again. This time they will not replace the unit as they state "these should not be going out like this" I offer to pay for one and overnight as I have guests coming in. I send back the top display so they can see if there is a defect or something and again no one follows up. I have send emails, phone calls and personally replaced 4 top displays with my own funds and the hot tubs continue to be defective. I asked to have a rep come out and view the units for defects and no one has been sent. I offered to pay more and upgrade to another unit and still no response.
I request a full refund so the units can be replaced with another brand.
I would like a full refund.
