This company is a scam
I purchased a hot tub from LPI/AquaLiving in June 2021 with a delivery date of Sep 2021. However, that date kept being pushed and finally the hot tub was delivered in Dec 2021. Since then the hot tub has not functioned properly. Bluetooth speakers did not work upon arrival and needed to be replaced, then we noticed a leak - we made a warranty claim which they initially tried to deny based on the purchase vs the actual received by date. Then after being reassigned to multiple techs who had non working numbers or full voicemail boxes someone came to fix the leak. Only he didn't actually fix it. So he came out again. Tub still leaked and started to have electrical issues because of it. I have now been reassigned techs 3 times including one who didn't show up at all for our scheduled appointment and now one that doesn't even live in my state. Plus we noticed the cover is missing foam entirely in a section from poor manufacturing and were told it only had a 90 day warranty and to buy another one FROM THEM for over $500 that would suddenly have a 5 year warranty. What a scam. So now I have a hot tub that is less than a year old that does not work, a cover that was never right and no hope of it ever getting resolved. The tub is clearly a lemon and a consumer product claim attorney agrees. I had a cheap Dreammaker spa prior to this I purchased thru Wayfair with zero issues in 6 years of ownership. It's obvious they cut corners during the pandemic to keep up with demand and were producing an inferior product now that is not only broken but dangerous. LPI is responsive but not actually taking care of the core issue and they need to be held accountable.

The Jets don’t work properly there’s always dirt in there because of the filtration system. The company never returns phone calls. It took over five months to receive the hot tub and now two years later my husband was almost electrocuted while trying to clean it and putting his arm in. It has never worked properly in two years and now it is out of warranty. Terrible. Terrible company, poor customer service… biggest waste of $5000 I have ever spent. spend a little more and get something that will last.

Heed the warnings - save your sanity and your money
I went with Aqua Living when no other dealers in my area (NH/ME) had units available for 8 months. Originally the unit was promised in 10 weeks (to be delivered end of Sept) and it ended up being 5 months, a month of which it was in transit. The delivery process was bad enough. When it arrived to ME from TN it was now Dec and they left water in the unit so everything was frozen and wouldn't work when it arrived in the dead of winter and 10 degrees outside. Luckily none of the pipes were busted. Tech support had us open the unit, we had to go buy space heaters and spent the entire day thawing it out and trying to get air locks out...because you have to fill it before you can try running it so we have almost 500 gallons of water in freezing temps...That should have been indicator number 1 not a very smart company.

Once it started working we noticed the lights, the sub, and the wifi didn't work. I called to get those and the tech was an absolute as and telling me they will send them and for me to "just replace them" no I want a tech so it is documented. I didn't pay over $11k to do their work and am not a hot tub technician.

After having the unit for 18 days the topside control goes out again shows clear condensation and completely stops working - in negative temps. They sent another controller, but forgot the overlay (which I still don't have) and it took 2 weeks to get it and get a tech to install. I have now had it installed for 16 days and it stopped working again. At this point all the customer service and tech support people know me because I have had to call so much. I still don't have the subwoofer/music or the wifi fixed (which you need to run the app to remote control and troubleshoot it).

Pay the money, go local where you can have local people that can help you with a reputable company because honestly after the sale this company doesn't and you may have gotten something cheaper but you get to deal with the nightmares. Read the review...biggest mistake and headache ever.

Worst company ever!!!!
My experience with this company could fill a book. There is so much I want to say, but the ONE thing that stands out above all is a complete and total LACK OF INTEGRITY. From the sales people, to management, to the repair department, this company has ABSOLUTELY NO INTEGRITY. I have never been lied to so often by so many people in my life. Purchasing a spa from this company is the single worst house-related decision I have ever made. I paid cash for the spa 18 mos ago and it is never worked properly and they refuse to come out and fix it. EVERYONE I have dealt with in this company has lied to me. I am now paying out of pocket for repairs to my spa, even though it is under warranty. Do yourself a favor and buy a Jacuzzi brand.

Worst customer experience of my life. Waited 6 months, received a hot tub with a hole in the side of it the size of a basketball. Tried to get help from my sales person but he clearly had already collected the commission check and didn't care; was a smartass about the entire issue and acted as though it was my problem to figure out not his. He told me "there is only so much I can do" but when I asked him for his manager's phone number and email, he told me he didn't know it!

Spoke to his manager eventually who pretended to care but then never responded to me again after 3 emails requesting an update on my service ticket to fix the hot tub.

Listen, I dont care about the 6 month wait as I know everything is taking longer to receive than originally expected. I do care about being respected through a business transaction where I've paid $5k+ for a product, and being treated like my business was meaningful. I shouldn't have had to work so hard to get them to resolve my issue.

Aqua living spas
Stay away from these spas this company is a flimflam company I am researching every possible website to complain I am also having my son-in-law set up a website which will explain every issue that we're having an every issue that anyone else is having with them please look at Better Business Bureau reviews they are horrible they are not Better Business Bureau members but at least you can file and leave a response this is a terrible company we we asked for $1,200 less because this came in with damages on it they know that I would have to pay someone to all this back to my driveway and then pay someone to haul another one back to my yard so they will offer a replacement which is very costly either way and I'm sure the same problems will be with the new one as well based on all of their Better Business Bureau responses the CEO does not care I contacted him we are speaking to an attorney now but I am going to look for every website possible I see there are quite a few so that other people don't get caught up in this scam with them

Purchased 2 hot tubs from Aqual Living, within 3 months started having troubles with the control panels going out.
Purchased 2 hot tubs on 11/1/2018 from Aqua Living Factory Outets. Model HB 19 & HB 34. The cost was $6711 plus tax. The rep was Kathy Palmieri (***@gmail.com).

Estimate that about 3 months after the purchase all of a sudden the top displays started going out. I contacted the warranty department and they sent a replacement. A month later the display (operates the unit) went out again. I contacted the company again and the rep sent a new one. This continues on for several months where about every 3 months the top displays go out. I continue to contact the warranty department and the warranty department advised that I should not have purchased these hot tubs because they are not meant for vacation rental use. The rep Kathy new exactly why I bought the units and that they were shipped to my vacation rental.

I contact the warranty department again as the top display goes out again. This time they will not replace the unit as they state "these should not be going out like this" I offer to pay for one and overnight as I have guests coming in. I send back the top display so they can see if there is a defect or something and again no one follows up. I have send emails, phone calls and personally replaced 4 top displays with my own funds and the hot tubs continue to be defective. I asked to have a rep come out and view the units for defects and no one has been sent. I offered to pay more and upgrade to another unit and still no response.

I request a full refund so the units can be replaced with another brand.

Desired Outcome

I would like a full refund.
