Mrs [redacted] called to request service assistance with her automatic pool cleaner Upon arrival, our technician found that Mrs [redacted] had purchased a new pool cleaner from the Internet which she had installed improperly Our policy is that we do not service or repair equipment that was not purchased from Aqua Mechanics, but the technician went ahead and fixed the cleaner anyway I called to inform Mrs [redacted] of our policy and to inform her that we would not be able to service the cleaner any more in the future During the conversation, I also informed her that Aqua Mechanics would be raising her service charge this year to $ [redacted] per visit to be in line with what we charge other customers (She had been charged $**[redacted] per visit for the last years.) We regret that Mrs [redacted] felt she was being "bullied" or treated disrespectfully, but we do not regret ending our relationship with her because of her adversarial attitude and lack of loyalty to Aqua Mechanics

Review: I recently had this company open my pool. They charged $285, which I paid. The two men that came to open it were here approximately 20 minutes, which included taking the cover off the pool. The pool had lots of algae and was green. They said they would brush the sides, but there was no evidence of it. They didn't even brush the steps. They put some chemicals in the pool to get rid of the algae, but four days later, it was as green as when they left. I called the owner and told him what happened, and he was unconcerned. I decided to not get irritated, and I asked them to come out again, in four days. Two days before they were to come, the pool water was still dark green They were gone after twenty minutes. I went into the company store, and he told me to put 16 gallons of liquid chlorine in the pool, so they could clean it when they came in two days. He accepted no blame for my pools condition, so I paid for the chlorine. I then put the chemicals in the pool and the color was significantly better when his people came back. They said they would brush the sides. Twenty minutes later, they left. I went to the pool and all they did was hook up the polaris pool cleaner and put it in the water. They hooked it up backwards and left. They had not put stops on either the filter or the cleaner, so they were running 24 hours per day. They didn't put one of the screw pieces in, and so the water coming out was misdirected. I called the store and talked to the owner about what had happened. He said "let's call us even and don'y pay me for this. He didn't care that I had gone out of my way to give them a chance to correct their mistakes, and didn't appear to be concerned about his poor performance. I'm writing this complaint so that other people don't get "ripped off" like I did.Desired Settlement: Peopl stop using their service
