Aquashield is not wind or hail proof
I lost my life savings on this defective product. I spent 44000 The owners of the company will try to tell you that I did something wrong. Nope. They installed it, it broke in the hail and winds speeds of 55. They don’t stand behind their product and expect any damage to be fixed by the consumer and or their home insurance. They did not offer to send a replacement even after the building came apart and flew off its rails. If you have a lot of money and live where the weather is temperate and calm winds, perhaps this product would work for you. They will say too that my situation was my fault and that they never had this happen before. They are at fault, there are plenty of reviews showing the product doesn’t hold up to wind too. There one about 100 miles from here. My advice. Don’t walk, run from this manufacturer. The product is not what they say and their customer service is terrible

Aqua Shield pool enclosures advice after 8 years
We have had our Aqua Shield for 8 years. We are very happy with our purchase but have learned some things. First I would have liked for the company to have a crew that did installation. We and our nephew, studying engineering in college, installed it but if a crew had come who knew what to expect, it would have gone smoother and in less time. Second, we have the high shield model. When measuring, we needed to take into consideration the skimmers and being able to stand up to service the pool. As a result we had to cut the track to get to one of the skimmers. It works but if we had known ahead of time, it would have been more convenient. Third, all the parts on the shield work well. We have had to work on the rollers but each year it rolls with minor alignments. Fourth, the only part of the Aqua Shield that we have issue with are the seals that seal the shield to the ground on the front and back. They are not the good heavy rubber of the seals that hold the telescoping pieces together. The plastic seals have become brittle and are cracked. I tried to fix them with Flex Tape but the cold weather made the Flex Tape useless. When we asked Aqua Shield for assistance, they responded that they could send us new seals and we could put them on. This is not possible for 70 plus seniors and the rivets that hold the seals in place. The end sections are very heavy and would be impossible for us to maneuver to replace these seals. Again I wish Aqua Shield would have a crew that would come to you and replace parts and do repair at my expense. The investment is substantial. However, we have enjoyed our pool year round for eight years. I do believe our expenses have been less for chemicals and pool maintenance since we only move the cover when we are entertaining. I do know that we have saved countless hours not having to clean the pool.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
My AquaShield pool enclosure cost me $15,Then it cost another $1,to do an installation, all according to the company specsIn addition, I cut a couple of old trees, that had a potential, if fall, to damage a structure The product comes with years warranty, so you may think that you get a piece of mind, sit back, and enjoy
During the second winter season, sections of the enclosure started to collapse , one after anotherIt looked like there were about 4-inches of the snow at the time - see attached picturesBadBut the worst came in laterAs it happens, there is a fine print in the contract about mandatory "excessive" snow removalBased on that clause, AquaShield called a few inches of snow excessive , customer negligent ( see the company response letter ), and refused to honor the warranty
In the same letter, AquaShield refers to what happened to my pool enclosure as an "act of God" Everybody knows what " an act of God" looks like when one sees it My case has nothing to do with an "act of God", but, rather, everything to do with an act of poor craftsmanship and deceptive sale tacticAccording to AquaShield grand design, you suppose to cancel all your skiing vacations, and "babysit" their enclosure all winter long to wipe off any snowflakes that might fall on itBecause if you don't do it, the thing WILL break, and you are not coveredAnd don't assume that it's easy to remove snow from feet wide, like in my case, dome, especially when there is a blizzard outside - I've done it
My disagreement with AquaShield is to be solved in the court of lawHere, at Revdex.com website, I'd like just to share my experience with othersAfter all, spreading the word is the best weapon we as customers possess to deal with that sort of businesses
Sincerely,
