Aqua Wizards Plumbing

I asked a friend if they knew of a plumber that could work on a shower faucet head. I was provided the name of Jason Kuehn of Aqua Wizards Plumbing LLC. The address of the business I was given was 298 143rd Ave NW, Andover, MN 55304. The phone numbers provided included the number for this business. My friend said he had no personal experience with Jason, but was aware he did plumbing in the area.

I called Jason on 1/15/2020 and spoke to him for approximately 5 min. He said he had an opening the next day because of a cancellation and would expect someone could be out shortly after his team's meeting on 1/16/2020.

The next day my wife was home when the plumbers arrived. They provided my wife with a couple options and so she called me and asked what I wanted to do.

Option 1 was $923.66 and included install new trim for the upstairs hall bathroom tub and shower and replace the cartrage.

Option 2 was $760.11 and was to replace the cartrage and handle for the upstairs hall bathroom ub and shower and re install the original trim.

There was also an option 3 that was $2,446.34 to install a whole home chlorine removal unit.

The options were significantly more than what I was expecting so I hesitated in proceeding, but we wanted the work done and I assumed I'd get an itemized breakdown of the work performed. We chose Option 1.

When looking at the invoice, I noticed that it merely had totals for the two options with no breakdown between materials and parts. Given the plumbers were at my house actually doing the repair just over an hour I thought I'd get a breakdown so I could see if I was being charged for the estimate time, the lunch break the plumbers took, and the time for the actual work.

My wife decided to call an ask for an itemized invoice on 1/29/2020. It is my understanding that when she asked Jason Kuehn for the itemized breakdown, he became rude. I called Jason shortly thereafter and spoke to him for almost 5 minutes. He was also in my mind very rude in his tone. When I told him I didn't think we could recommend his business to anyone, he said "Is that a veiled threat?" I asked him how is that a threat? I was merely telling him if someone asked for a plumbing recommendation, I would not be able to provide him as a recommendation. I told him he was being very rude in his tone and he said that I was the one that was rude. I called him a "pk" and he then said I had swore at him, apparently because pk was considered a swear word. I told him, based on his customer service skills, I would be contacting the Revdex.com and hung up.

This review is based on Jason's tone and comments when we merely asked for some clarification. We had already agreed to the price, so I am not arguing with him about that. If Jason had handled himself with nominal customer service skills, we wouldn't have taken the time to write this review, but it was specifically because of his tone and bullying behavior that we felt we needed to make a comment online to warn others.
