I have attached the only email that I received from T [redacted] B [redacted] about any issues concerning the apartment he and his wife A [redacted] B [redacted] leased from Corporate ConnectionFrom the start of working with A [redacted] , there was a cost issue with the apartment , she kept wanting to find something less expensiveShe asked if anything could be taken away from the apartment to make the cost go down I explained to her that all our apartments are fully furnished , and we cannot change or delete any items from the package unless it is a month or more leaseI held the apartment for her two separate times before she decided to take itThey moved in on 10-21- and as part of the lease agreement , she signed her notice to vacate for 11-19-During this entire time , we never received any complaints or service request from them until 11-14- At that time I received a long list of problems (see list below) If these were such severe issues then why were we not notified until five days before the scheduled move outOn the 20th the day after they were supposed to move out we sent our cleaning department to turn the apartment and found they were still thereI called A [redacted] B [redacted] to see what was going onShe called back crying saying she had submitted the wrong date to vacateI assured her it was ok that no one had leased the apartment and they would only be charged per day and would not have to resubmit a notice to vacateShe was very thankful and appreciative This is when I received a call from T [redacted] being extremely irate about us charging for the extra daysI explained Fair Housing to him and that I had to chargeI was extremely nice to him and tried to get him to understand that he had to pay for the additional daysI also tried to get him to understand that we would have fixed all of these issues if I had been given the opportunity to do soThis is when he hung up on me because he could not live there for extra days without paying! We have had no complaints of insects of any kind in the apartment but again had to let us know if there was a problem The mattress in the master is as hard as the floorMultiple back and neck issues for me and my wifeI know this sounds ridiculous, but I would challenge any one to stay and sleep on that mattress for nights, and report backIt is hard as a rock, and we expect just a little moreIf the mattress was too hard all he had to do was let us knowPerson before preferred a firm setTV in living room is not HD and the one in the bedroom isNot a big deal, but something that I would expect to be standardNot an issue DVD does not work properlyWe brought DVD’s for the kids, but can’t use it because it makes a loud hum when in useUnwatchableWe would not know this unless we were informed The couch cushions are worn out and sink to the backAs you sit down, you actually sit onto the bar of the pull out bed ,and makes it a place where you can’t sit downPlease try for yourself in the middle cushionA sleeper sofa is not as comfortable to sit on as a regular sofaCould have changed if requestedOne of the old kitchen chairs broke when A [redacted] sat in it, and she fell backwards and hit her head on the wallShe is not a big woman, and I would expect we could have a decent chair to sit on in the kitchenNone of the furniture is “old” and the chair was not broken but bent as it was metal and could not break (see picture attached) You can’t take hot showers in a rowI can jump in for 2-minutes, and still don’t have hot water for the 2nd showerIt makes life tough getting ready for school, work, church, ect How could we possibly know this if not informed My gate key only worked for the front gate, and not for the backA***’s worked for bothThis is picky, but again, all these things add upJust had to tell us we would have got a new one All the appliances need upgrading and furniture evaluatedLuckily the kids bed was the only saving grace for us, as it was comfortableWe keep our apartments updated they are turned after every tenant and everything checked and switched out or upgraded as needed Moving to Greenville with our young children is a big move for us, and we are very disappointed, not mad, about our initial experienceI feel that not only were we not given the value for what we paid, but I feel that the conditions were boarder line not healthyI would hope there would be a fair resolution to this matter, and I look forward to hearing back from you soon on thisPlease respond back to me, and please call me if you would like to discuss furtherMy cell is 865-924- Thanks, Tim B [redacted] | Sales Manager, SoutheastThe Pete Store, LLC phone: 865.924.4221direct: website: thepetestore.com Attachments areaPreview attachment Axis Dining Set 19346.JPGAxis Dining Set 19346.JPGMB

Unfortunately, we will not be able to issue Ms [redacted] a refundThough it is regrettable that she feels we have treated her unjustly, we have responded to each of her emails with respect and professionalism indicating why she was being chargedTo respond to the allegation of the coffee table having a broken leg prior to her move in, we have yet to receive any solid proof of that being the caseThat coupled with the fact that it had not been reported to us until we charged her card for the damages leads us to believe it was falseThe coffee table was broken beyond repair, which then disputes anything heavy being able to be placed upon it (i.ea TV)Our charges have been more than fair considering that in addition to the carpets and walls being dirty, the furniture had multiple stickers on most pieces, and the baseboards were blackened with dirtWe overlooked these items as they were able to be repaired and cleaned

We overlooked these items as they were able to be repaired and cleaned.
