The owner of the company continues to throw around facts about our pool equipment that is not true simply because he will not admit to ripping us off and over charging usHe claims that the payment was proof that we were willing to pay him an outrageous amount for a used clamp when in actuality we never intended on that and we had originally been giving a fair quoted price by his company to pay under $which included the replacement part that his company brokeAnd yes if Aqualine was hired to fix our pump and broke a part they (the company) are liableOur pump is not as old as he claimed it was just installed new years ago and it would be nice if [redacted] could deal with this without creating informationThe only reason we payed that huge amount to him is not because we were willing but because we were threatened on our own property the day he asked us to meetThe tactics that this man uses are sneaky and unprofessional and then he tries to sound professional now because he wants to cover up his mistakeWe even found out recently that his company never even finished the job of fixing our pool pump and left it full of debris and gunk that was supposed to have been cleaned out after he backwashed itHe demanded an outrageous payment for an unfinished job and a part he broke that he refuses to take responsibility forFuture customers be warnedThis has been a most disappointing experienceMuch like being taken advantage of at an auto repair shop.?

The fact of the matter is that the company Aqualine did break the original clamp and they admitted to itThey are trying to find a way to not pay me what they oweThis can all be resolved when they agree to pay back the $extra that they charged me for a part that they should have replaced in the first place

I will offer Mr *** the #he is asking for upon return of the used clamp I sold him in complete and re-usable condition with in daysIf Mr*** does not accept this offer which is $more than he payed for the clamp, then the clamp is worth more to him than what I charged himTherefore I do not see that he has a complaint.

The company Aqualine is still not taking responsibility for the part of my pump that they broke and needed to replace yet they want to still claim that I agreed to purchase the used replacement part from them for $This is erroneous! I have included a follow up complaint refuting and explaining the issues that the business has clearly lied aboutThe initial quote, the broken part and then how the owner made threats on my property when we were supposed to be having a professional meetingI will patiently wait for this issue to be resolved in a decent way, with a refund of my moneyThank you

Mr [redacted], Your old clamp did not have the correct washer/nut/spring assembly on it and the nut was cross threaded on to the bolt. The bolt broke because of the cross threaded nut. Your filter is over 25 years old. You had taken off a newer filter and had this old one installed by someone. If old equipment breaks when we are working on it, we are not the liable party. The pool and the filter belongs to you. You alone are the one who is liable for its condition. The clamp can be a safety issue if not properly installed. You are whoever installed the clamp before we worked on the filter improperly installed the clamp causing it to break when we tried to remove the clamp. I tried to save you money by offering you a used clamp. You accepted the used clamp and the cost of the used clamp. You paid me for the clamp after the work was completed. Your payment is proof of acceptance. I have offered to pay you $100.00 more than what you paid me for the clamp if you would like to return it in order to resolve this issue. That is my final offer. [redacted]

The owner of the company continues to throw around facts about our pool equipment that is not true simply because he will not admit to ripping us off and over charging us. He claims that the payment was proof that we were willing to pay him an outrageous amount for a used clamp when in actuality we never intended on that and we had originally been giving a fair quoted price by his company to pay under $600 which included the replacement part that his company broke. And yes if Aqualine was hired to fix our pump and broke a part they (the company) are liable. Our pump is not as old as he claimed it was just installed new 3.5 years ago and it would be nice if [redacted] could deal with this without creating false information. The only reason we payed that huge amount to him is not because we were willing but because we were threatened on our own property the day he asked us to meet. The tactics that this man uses are sneaky and unprofessional and then he tries to sound professional now because he wants to cover up his mistake. We even found out recently that his company never even finished the job of fixing our pool pump and left it full of debris and gunk that was supposed to have been cleaned out after he backwashed it. He demanded an outrageous payment for an unfinished job and a part he broke that he refuses to take responsibility for. Future customers be warned. This has been a most disappointing experience. Much like being taken advantage of at an auto repair shop.

The fact of the matter is that the company Aqualine did break the original clamp and they admitted to it. They are trying to find a way to not pay me what they owe. This can all be resolved when they agree to pay back the $200 extra that they charged me for a part that they should have replaced in the first place.
