(1) I mailed him tv set box to try He liked it and wanted to get more boxes like that and I was looking for a good filter so I offered him to trade more boxes for the filter and I mailed him more boxes He was not interested in TV service because he is himself actually distributor for russian tv companies such as kartina.tv and telepristavka.com If you go to [redacted] and take a look on a dealers list in [redacted] you will see his name as a distributor It would not make any sense whatsover for a distributor to purchase servise from another distributor ! He has access to distributor wholesale prices him self ! He was only interested in a tv boxes for his customers! (2) He is never informed me before that this is his personal filter from I just found out this now from his letter He told me on a phone that this filter cost and he promised me year warranty ! I would never get used unsupported filter for this price so I expected new filter for this price and he promised me year warranty How is private person can promise year warranty ? Warranty is up to a company to support, so this is the sigh that the deal was between me and the company Aquarel I also mailed boxes to Aquarel business address and return address on a box from a filter was Aquarel address But he is trying to reject that in order to prevent his brand ! I, Lev R***, want to inform you a second time that this deal with *** *** had no relation to the company AquarealAdditionally, everything he is stating in his complaint is falseThis was a private deal and when we made the agreement he priced his TV Box for fifteen dollars more than the price I was giving him for the water filterHe then said I was supposed to send him the difference of fifteen dollarsDue to this, if this deal was between *** *** and the company Aquareal, then the check for the difference of fifteen dollars would be also from the company AquarealBut I sent him the check from my personal account, and a copy of this check I am also attaching with my responseSecondly, if he thinks that this deal was with him and Aquareal, then he should be able to prove this with documents: receipt for the filter, or the transfer of money to the company Aquareal, or anything that would give proof to back up his complaint, I never promised him a warranty, but just wanted to help him out of generosityBut when I saw the condition of the filter he returned, with the physical damage, I could see that there was no point to repair, and that it would be cheaper to buy a new filter at this pointNow, in regards to what he wrote about the fact that I am in fact the dealer for *** TVThis in fact is the truth, I am in fact the dealer for *** TVHence, I was interested in the ad saw in the newspaperSince the TV Box that I buy as a dealer, can only be used from *** TVBut the TV Box's that *** *** was selling, he informed that can be used with any of the companiesAdditionally, the price for the service that he gave me was way cheaper than the price I would get as the dealer from *** TVThis is why I agreed to the deal with himSince, he didn't send the codes for the service, I therefore couldn't check if those boxes can in fact be used with any other companiesAlso the fact that I am in fact a dealer is no proof that this deal was made with *** *** and the company AquarealNow in regards to the statement where he said that he sent the TV Box to the address of the company Aquareal, and that when I sent the filter that I also gave a return address of the company AquarealI already informed him, that this was solely just the mailing address and even when I buy any personal items for myself for my house, I also give a mailing address of the company Aquareal because I am at work every day till lateIf t shipment would be delivered to the home address, then I wouldn't be at able to receive my package, since I would not be homeDue to this, I always list the address of Aquareal as my mailing addressThis though does not mean that all the personal items I buy, have anything to do with the company Aquareal.Sincerely,Lev R

whom contacted you with the complaint, has nothing to do with the company AquarelThis deal was initiated between *** *** and I, and the address of Aquareal was given only as a mailing address.I found *** ***'s phone number in an ad in one of the Russian newspapers in which he was offering “TV box" with a one year service for the viewing of all Russian channels and this grasped my interestI contacted *** *** based on this ad to get further detailsThroughout the conversation with him, he asked me what I do for a living, and I explained that I work for the company Aquareal which is involved in purifying water, and selling water filtersHe then responded to this, that he wanted to exchange the TV box for a water filter and asked me if maybe I'd be interested in selling his TV Box's in my company, AquarealAfter the fact that I explained to him that the price for the water filters started off from $and higher, he understood that the deal wasn't going to be successful, but started asking me if I might have any cheaper filters for the exchangeI informed him that I have a cheaper filter that I personally bought in 2007, but the manufacture no longer produces this model and it therefore no longer has any parts for it except cartridges, since it has been a long time since this product has been taken off the marketHe asked me if I could take photos of this water filter and send him pictures so he can take a lookI sent him photos, and a few days later he called me back, and said that this filter did in fact interest him and I again warned him about the warranty since, this product no longer had manufactures warranty left on itLater, we came to an agreement, since I don't know him personally, and have never met him, that he would first send me the TV box and only then when receive it I would in return ship him the water filterHe then told me that he would send the TV box first without the one year service, and only after he receives the water filter, will he give me the year service to view the Russian channelsHe shipped me the TV box, after received it, I then shipped him the water filter, and after that he disappeared, and didn't respond to any phone calls, and didn't call meAnd only later after a few months he contacted me, explaining to me that he was really busy and that is why he didn't send the one year serviceAnd right away, started complaining that the filter wasn't working, even though the filter was bought in it was in mint conditionI told him that he should take a picture of the fitter so I could try to understand what exactly isn't working with this filterHe started demanding me a receipt for the purchase, plus a repair under warranty for this filter, or a replacement of this filterI tried to explain to him again that this product has nothing to do with the company Aquareal first off, and second off what receipt did he want to obtain considering no money was paid for this product, and additionally, that this was just a private deal made between *** *** and suggested for him to come and bring me the filter, and that I out of kindness would take a look at it, and try to fix it for himHe rejected the idea of coming and bringing the filter, and instead delivered the filter back to meWhen I received the filter, it came in a very poor condition, and looked like it was used for at least a year, and as I looked inside besides the dirt there was lids from yogurt and sour cream containersAdditionally, all the connections of the filter where the water goes through were all brokenIn one word, the filter in this condition was not applicable for repair since it had broken parts, which as I stated previously that there are no longer parts made for this filter, as it was off the market for a whileI called him back and explained him the situation, and he started scaring me, demanding a different and new filter, or for me to ship him back a refundAlthough, he himseif did not physically pay me (give me money) for this productSecondly, he still never gave me the year service for the TV box that he was originally supposed to send me* I therefore, once again tried to explain to him that the company Aquareal was in no way involved in this deal, and that this was solely a private exchangeAdditionally I informed him that he had a few choices, either he came to pick up his filter, or if he doesn't want to come pick up his filter he can pay for shipping, and I will ship him back the product.Sincerely,Lev R***P.S If you have additional questions, I will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have, and provide you with any information you may need

Review: Hello! I bought water filter from Aquareal store in [redacted] PA I spoke personaly with their owner Lev R[redacted] ! He promised to me 1 year warranty and 1 extra set of filters for the 2nd year ! The filter was arrived after a few days. When I opened the box I realized that the recite and official warranty policy was missing I He also did not mail me 2nd set replacement filters asked him why this documents are missing. His response was that he did not include tax in a price and if will give me the recit he will have to pay tax so therefore if I want recit I must pay 40.00 extra He also said that he does not give written warranty but he did assured me that if I will have any issues he will help me within 1 year! When I connected filter to the sink I realized that filter does not work because water does not get inside I called and explained the problem ! He told me to unscrew buck cover and see what is the problem! When I opened the buck cover I saw 2 wires that sopostu be together are apart from each other I called him again and explained this He asked me to make a photo from my cell phone and send it to him ! I took a few photos and I send him to his cell phone after he told me that he can not tell by photo what happened and asked me to mail him the filter ! I mailed filter to him and I expected to receive a call from him as soon as he inspects the unit but he did not call me finally after 2 weeks I gave him a call ! He told me that he think that I broke the filter and his warranty does not cover this issues and he will not fix filter for me and he will send me this filter in a non working condition and only after he will receive money for return shipping for me! This is not fare I did not use this filter even for 1 day why i,m sopostu pay for this?Desired Settlement: I would like him to fix my filter or to replace with the new one or to return my money 550.00 back
