I am writing this in response to a complaint made by Mr. [redacted] Dear BBB,I was contacted by Mr. [redacted] in the winter of 2014 to construct a pool in his yard. We went back and forth for a few months as he had a specific budget he was trying to meet. After multiple meetings I decided that this project was not for me at which point I set up a meeting to explain to Mr. [redacted] . He would not have it and talked me in to doing the project despite my reservations. We had done multiple drawings and designs with different placements and locations. When we went to start the project we spent an entire day laying out the pool with stakes and string. We actually made the pool one foot larger at his request with no additional charge to him. Once we achieved a final layout Mr [redacted] was happy with he told us to build it. At that point I asked Mr [redacted] to sign a document approving the layout and he declined. Not until the concrete was installed did he start complaining about the location of the spa. The pool was laid out, formed and eventually dug for a week before concrete was installed. At any point during those few days the spa could have been moved but nothing was said until after concrete. By the time of completion Mr Thopmson was still upset about the spa placement and refused to pay final payment at which point we agreed to a discounted final payment and I deducted $1000 off of the contract price to try to placate him. I have heard nothing from him since until now. I desire a quick resolution to this issue and we are not at fault in any way. Thank you
