This
afternoon I returned a call from MrBill G*** at Aquia Stafford Area Plumbing. During this conversation, I expressed my
concern with the notes from the Revdex.com which indicate that Mr*** had, “no
record of the customer’s issues,” considering I had discussed this topic with
Mr*** on two previous occasions with no resolution. Mr*** responded that he considers this
issue a, “gray area.” Moreover, he went
on to say that he does not accept any responsibility for this issue. During our conversation, he contradicted
himself by emphatically indicating that they did test the system during the
initial repair; however, shortly thereafter he indicated that it is customary
for them not to charge and test the system in cold weather conditions. He then asked me what I wanted. I explained the desired settlement that I
outlined in my complaint to the Revdex.com. Mr
*** indicated that he would be willing to reimburse me for the cost of the
second call out, under the condition that I withdraw my complaint with the
Revdex.com. I explained to Mr*** that I
would not withdraw my complaint, but I would consider the matter closed upon
reimbursement. I further explained to Mr
*** that I would respond to the Revdex.com indicating that he was willing to
reimburse me contingent upon me withdrawing my complaint. With that, Mr*** asked me if I, “was
beaten as a child.” He went on to say
that he has no use for the Revdex.com. After these comments, I was no longer hopeful
that we could resolve this issue without the aid of the Revdex.com. Shortly thereafter, Mr*** and I exchanged
amicable parting remarks and we disconnected

Hello,
On 17 Feb 16, we returned from vacation and noticed water was leaking from the garage ceiling. Called our home insurance and they recommended Aquia which turned out to be an excellent choice. Aquia sent James the technician on 18 Feb 16 to assess the problem and we discovered the PVC had a pin hole coming from the bathroom above. The problem was fixed quickly by James after a thorough review of the situation. Initially, the insurance had to determine if this situation was a slow leak that caused the water damage. Bill the owner at Aquia wrote a letter in case my insurance company denied that it wasn't a specific event of failure, which I was totally appreciative. Between James and Bill I felt in good company of experienced and knowledgably professionals. I can read folks really well, so I will definitely call Aquia the next time I have plumbing issues. Good, trustworthy, companies with integrity are hard to come by, I was absolutely satisfied with the workmanship and recommend this company hands down. Thanks James and Bill

Revdex.com spoke with the business Mr. [redacted] asked that the customer contact him directly to resolved this matter as they have no record of the customer's issues.

Absolutely the worst customer service! Never in my life have I ever dealt with such unprofessionalism, and from the owner at that! This company is money hungry they will tell you one thing but then find away to nickel and dime you. The owner is condescending and rude, he does not give a care about his customers, and at this rate I am trying to figure out how his company has stayed in business with his attitude. I am so disappointed in how he handled the situation that I am willing to pay another company more than what I was quoted by his company because of him. Telling a customer that they need to practice patience, that it is not "his job to make me happy" or that I "MUST" apologize is not customer service. I highly suggest that you do not call this company to do any plumbing work or if you happen to get referred to them through your home warranty company ask for another company, never again will they step foot in my house I could care less if my house was flooding. I will pay someone else to do the work. Customer service is everything.

ridiculously overpriced. Had frozen outside faucet, should be easy repair. Repairman was here 30 minutes and charged $270.00- or $500 an hour, and that is with the access panel already accessible. Recommend using someone else

Review: On 01/24/2014, Aquia Stafford Area Plumbing was hired to repair a freeze rupture on a rear hose bib at a home that I own located in Stafford, Virginia. A repair was made, but the system was not tested by Aquia Stafford Area Plumbing to ensure the water line to this hose bib was functional. The cost of the original repair was $489.95. Water service to this faucet remains off, and to this day water service has not been restored to this water line. During a recent home inspection and despite that this water line has been dry since the original repairs were made, another freeze rupture on this same hose bib was discovered, within inches of the original repair. Aquia Stafford Area Plumbing was called to make the repairs. On 02/27/2016, Aquia Stafford Area Plumbing performed these repairs for an additional cost of $139.90.

Through recent discussions with my insurance company, they encouraged me to seek reimbursement for this second charge or to file a complaint with the Revdex.com.

Had Aquia Stafford Area Plumbing properly inspected or performed a function test to ensure the water line could be placed back in service, this second callout would not have been necessary as the second rupture would have been discovered during the original callout.Desired Settlement: Reimbursement for the cost associated with the second call out, in the amount of $139.90.
