Chipped the finish on my rim, threw my rim stickers away and then stated that they did as if they were proud of it and lied about the damageIt is just a typical trashy environment not an environment for custom parts as it spreads through word of mouth in LakelandThey are probably selling my stickers on Craigslist or Ebay
Bought new tires from this company less than mos ago, today as I pulled out of my driveway one tire was flatI pulled it off and took it to McGhee on Hwy Bartow Ave LocationCalled later on and was told it was a pinhole in the wall of the tire and they could not fix it so we would have to buy another tireIt was implied that we must have hit somethingThat didn't set right with me because it wasn't hit and we knew itWe questioned it but was told that if we had hazard coverage it would have covered itWe were never told about hazard coverage at allThere was no apology, no I'm sorry this happenedJust, " we can still get you hazard coverage in case it happens again"I was expecting some kind of discount and did not think I was treated fairlyWe will not go back here and would never recommend them to anyoneWhich is sad because we have several vehicles and I thought we had found a good repair shopWe feel the tire was defective and should have been sent back to *** for a replacement
I was in at our local Mc Gee Tire center located on SRin Bradenton Fl today 91/1/from about 2ish until 330pm, I came in with my mother to help her decide on a good set of tiresWe decided on a good set and went on with the purchase (roughly 800$)We sat in the waiting room and then the salesman walks up to tell us they are almost done with the carAt this point I remind my mom to ask about a cabin air filter replacement as well and what happens next? I get smacked upside the head by the salesman FOR NO REASON! It went like this:
salesman : Your car is almost ready folks
Me to my mother : Did you need a cabin filter too? You said yours was black
SMACK!
THATS IT JUST SMACKI couldnt even believe what had just happenedI got slapped for asking my mom a questionI do not like confrontation so I told him to never slap me again or I would beat his *** and I spent the remaining mins outside in a thunderstorm because I felt so usedI was assaulted by their employee none the less and the cameras captured it im sure! They offered my mother a 40$ coupon off and we high tailed it out of thereWe will never return to this storeVery unprofessional and very uncalled forI did nothing to provoke a slapShame Shame McGee Tire
Since 2007. Up until now I have had no issues with them. I recently took 3 wheels and tires to them to mount and balance them for me. And when I received the wheels back on of the wheels had a giant scuff on it. When I brought them back to the store. Paul said he would take care of it even though he believed they didn't do it. I contacted Paul a few days later after he said he would talk to his wheel guy. And now he says that they're not going to pay for it and that he can get me a deal with the wheel guy or refund me the money I paid to have them mounted and balanced. I know they had to of scuffed my wheel since I brought them to him brand new in the box. These wheels and tires are going on a show vehicle and needed to be perfect. And now it's not being taken care of. I will never bring any more of my stuff to them to do. And I will never refer anybody else there as I have done in the past. This is very unprofessional. And I am extremely upset about this.
Today 2/1/16 I went to McGee tire in De Land, Fl. And spoke with the manager, Jared S[redacted]. We had driven from NYS to Florida and notice a tire issue. I Spoke to Jared about this problem to which he checked the car and found the belt problem in all tires.. The tires were a year old and he replaced them all at no cost, which was extremely generous .. I really appreciate a manager and employe, Mike, whom installed the new tires.. I highly recommend this company for the service received..
