Review: A&R was paid $5,812.00 to get a new engine for our [redacted] that is in need of repair. We placed the order with [redacted] from A&R and made the payment with [redacted] on November 11th, 2014. It took 8 weeks for the engine to arrive and it was the wrong engine. [redacted] told [redacted] one of our mechanics that he would refund our money unless we wanted him to repair our other engines. I specifically spoke with [redacted] and told him that we will just take the refund. He stated that he would need to talk with the vendor he purchased the engine from to find out about him getting a refund from them. When I asked who the vendor was he did not give me an answer. I have called the shop several times with no answer and also his cell phone [redacted] with no answer or return call after leaving messages. I sent an email on the 18th of February with no response. I sent another email yesterday with the threat of legal action and finally received a response. I sent the information he requested and have not heard anything back from him.Desired Settlement: I would like the [redacted] Card I used to purchase the engine refunded the full amount of $5,812.00.
